Media generally goes for the most sensational interpretation, since that's what sells. How do you make a compelling argument that a young actress was manipulating Mr. Powerful Director, when the opposite is inherently believable?

It is gender related because of the societal perception that women are safer, and therefore better teachers for.young children. It makes teaching grade school dangerous for men because they can be accused for nothing at all, and lose their constitutional right to be innocent until proven guilty. This story shows that women are not automatically safer. Hopefully this and other stories like it will eventually lead to the perception that men are not automatically dangerous.

It seems self-evident that some jurisdictions are corrupt and some are not because justice is administered by people, and it takes all kinds to make a world. I agree there's plenty of injustice to go around. Long, long ago, the Romans likened human justice to a woman's rag, and little seems to have changed. Also, your neighborhood must be very agreeable.

That's why it's so hard to get a conviction reversed. But this one WAS reversed. It was already proved she lied to put him in jail. It's my belief the court has a duty in these cases to go after the perjured criminal, rather than allowing everyone to just call it quits so she can walk free.
