My advice is to delete your Facebook. Use Whatsapp, no one will know how many people you're talking to. Facebook is toxic, it took me a lot of time to realize that.

I moved abroad and started chatting with this chick I met earlier in my old country. I tell her that I'll be coming in a month and she's very excited to meet me. I appear and I didn't even meet her, I was just hanging out with my friends and responded with "I didn't feel like it." when she asked me why didn't I meet her.
