Awesome video for all you guys battling AA, Training Your Mind to Perform Under PressureWow I loved this video. Someone told me once that perception is reality and I've noticed that to be true in so many instances. This view makes a person look forward to scary challenges rather than avoid them. It's not nervousness, its excitement. | /r/seduction | 28/05/14 10:55 PM
LA Marathon: woman gets $50k for winning "Gender Challenge" by only losing to man by 17 minutesThe prize pool used to be different for Wimbledon, but now it is the same for both women and men, but men matches are 3 out of 5 while women play 1 out of 3. The men have to be much more fit, put in more hours, take more punishment on their body to receive the same amount of money. Saw this tidbit on QI | /r/TheRedPill | 10/03/14 08:13 PM
Is online dating a bad idea for a dude who is trying to get back into the game after a LTRI like the barrier to entry of paying with match.com that narrows the field to people who are serious. PoF is pretty bad, but I just had my first lucky find on PoF and our message exchanges have been pretty entertaining. Really doesn't hurt to try all the sites. | /r/seduction | 30/12/13 07:43 PM
Does a dude with a stutter have any chance at all?A stutter would hurt if you are going for cold approaches with smooth/suave openers. If you start conversations from common circumstances like standing in line for coffee/lunch, or waiting for the bartender then I don't think its a problem at all. I have a speech impediment and I joke about how I only speak one language, yet suck at it. Just have confidence and be comfortable in your own skin. If people are judging/dismissing you from your stutter, then imo, it just acts as a filter to find cool… | /r/seduction | 30/12/13 07:39 PM
How do you differentiate between not wanting to do something because it's out of your comfort zone or because you genuinely don't want to?I think the problem with trying to rationalize if you'll enjoy an activity is that it is very hard to really predict how a situation will be without doing it. There's a TED talk about comparing the happiness of lottery winners and paraplegics and he mentions that the brain is terrible at simulations. My solution was for 2 months say yes to every activity I would've said no too (mostly clubbing) and it turns out I actually don't like it, but atleast I got my conclusion. | /r/seduction | 19/10/13 03:11 AM
