Not true. I know so many ugly men married to or dating beautiful women… Looks help, but it isn’t all.

Why? Adults have sex.

Once every 3 years? When taking life changing decisions? That’s perfectly fine.

Not really. The more powerful person in a community can be ugly or short. The ones who hold political power in a tribe, the wealthy people, the ones who are popular, etc., have the best chances to make your children (and yourself, as a woman) survive. Genetically speaking, women are attracted to power for evolution reasons. This is changing in modern times, I think, where women independence and status definitions are different, but confidence is still a good indicator of “fitness for survival”.

It all depends on the context. You should hear what my LTR and I say to each other on tender/intimate/teasing/playful moments. If something cross the line (meaning: it hurts) then we ask to not say something like that again. That's all. No drama, no hard feelings, no break up, no cowardice, not nothing, just talking and calling each other out when needed. Leaving empty handed, insulted, offended, without even letting her know, is, to put it simply, the worst possible outcome for the situation.

People on the internet immediately advising to leave/break up/split makes me thing that people on the internet are 12. An awesome man or woman can turn every situation into something good for them, not just giving up.

Summary: you lost the girl. If you respect yourself so much why didn't you tell her? Call her on her shit so it doesn't happen again. She can also apologize to you until you're satisfied. Basically, she owned you and you just left insulted.

This sub is alt-right, period. Just take the good bits and ignore the rest -it’s a bunch of assholes. This thread, some of the stuff, you don’t even wanna read it. The way they talk down about people because of their sexual orientation. It’s so conservative that seems from the last century.

He's just a human being that had a hard time in life, probably a bad background, most likely growing up in a bad family/neighborhood or otherwise exposed to crime, drugs, poverty. He survived and managed to raise healthy kids. Respect him, be nice to him. Maintain a frame of kindness. You want to be his friend, not his enemy. As in almost everything, social skills are the key. You can't maintain shit without charisma. And learn as much as you can about life from him.

No. You can classify it as a mental illness, it doesn't make it one. It's like saying that homosexuals are mentally ill, as people like you used to say. They're not. And yes, stating that it's a mental illness is an attack towards these people, effectively trying to imply that they're lesser humans because they're ill, when they're not.
/r/MensRights21/08/18 09:33 PM
3

It's not. Do you realize that homosexuality was also considered a mental illness not so long ago? You're on the wrong side of history. Now go back to your cave.

Being transgender is NOT being mentally ill. Are you from the middle ages?
/r/MensRights21/08/18 05:17 PM
11

Yes it does contradict it: "cognitive dissonance that drives transition to being a transgender woman is created by the desire to be more accepted and loved by society". No. Not at all. It's about being who you truly are, not about being more "socially cool".

I disagree about the "selfish" trait. In my experience women feel attracted to alphas taking care of other people, meaning that if you care about others, are generous, try to help people in need, act selfless, women are more attracted to you in a subconscious level. Remember, the real alpha is the one whose value is so high that he can make sure that the people around him are having a good time, or a good life.

Who gives a fuck about your dumb idiotic argument that has nothing to do with reality when you can't even understand a simple sentence. First, learn to read. That's how conservatives get to be conservatives: ignorance. Did you know that there's a strong correlation between lack of education, rural areas, and conservatism? It's called statistics and they show reality. Of course, you're too stupid to know what statistics are. Basically, it means that if you grow up in a rich family chances are you…

I get the sense that when we talk about "IQ" you forget about reality. I had heard that conservatives had a really "interesting" argument with regards to "millonaires"... where the family wealth doesn't matter. Is that your argument? Seriously? Most of the answers are so blind... Most of you forget that traveling is actually very cool, and that foreign cultures are sometimes astonishing and always interesting. The first exercise may also be good to enhance our empathy. It's difficult to understand and envision how other people are less lucky than us, and to feel for their suffering. This exercise should make people more willing to help others, which is always a good thing.

Statistically significant sampling size means nothing to qualitative research, it's not the nature of its epistemology. And no, Coca-Cola doesn't do qualitative research all over the country as a sample "size"; if anything, to get regional information, not to extrapolate under an statistical margin of error. You do fail to understand what qualitative sociology means.
/r/MensRights30/11/17 03:01 PM
1

You fail to understand what qualitative means. Ask any marketing friend of yours -with or without PhD- what do they learn from interviews and discussion groups, and then you come back to tell me that qualitative can't be used for an entire country, when companies like Coca-Cola or Apple are doing millions on qualitative research results alone.
/r/MensRights30/11/17 02:50 PM
1

"PhD's". Sure. And they don't know shit about social science. Size of 20 for what? That doesn't even make any sense. 20 for a population of 100? Awesome ratio! 20 for a population of 100 billions? What the fuck do your "PhD's" mean by 20? No real PhD on social sciences would ever say that. Also, you're confusing qualitative and quantitative studies.
/r/MensRights30/11/17 10:48 AM
-1

No. PS I was going to just write "no" because your statement is entirely ridiculous by itself, and shows that you have no knowledge about sociology whatsoever, but here's an explanation: every sociology student spends a few years studying statistics. As 101, they learn how big a sample must be to be able to extrapolate results to the entire population, and how to calculate the margin of error depending on the model used. If you see a study who interviews 50 people and extrapolates conclusions fo…

Sociology tends to make broad generalizations out of tiny studies False. If a sociological study uses a sample linked to a non acceptable margin of error, the statistics aren't valid. I think you're confusing reporters and bloggers with sociological research.

This is going to sound misogynist and counter-intuitive, but from a male perspective, the less confident you seem to be, and the more shy/insecure you look, the more they feel that they need to do-it-all and approach, guide and lead. It doesn't matter what you feel inside, you can be self-assured, bold and confident, but if you show it many guys will find you aggressive and masculine.

You'll be fine. The fact that you can disengage yourself from religion -any and all religions, they all suck- is by itself a good sign of strong thinking. Practice whatever you aim for: girls, studies, whatever, just focus on it, and you'll accomplish it.

There's a difference between loosing a case and proving that she was lying to ruin his life. If there's not enough evidence and the accused goes free in order to avoid the chance of in-jailing an innocent man, there shouldn't be any consequences for her. BUT if she was lying on purpose just to destroy his life, her life should be ruined as much. And don't even try to mention Saudi Arabia when you are ok with people ruining other peoples lives just because they can.

And I thought freaks like you didn't exist outside of the XIV century. Where I live if someone quotes the bible is just a crazy person and people laugh at him. Not even priests do it out of their temples. It's not a matter of "mythical beings exist or they don't" debate, it's quoting a religious book as a source of knowledge what creeps me. And should creep you too. The religiousness of this thread is just unbelievable by any European standards.
/r/MensRights06/09/14 07:09 PM

What? What I'm saying is that a religious book doesn't have a place in an adult, cultured debate. If we pay attention to every wacko talking about myths we won't advance as humans. And I'll defend this point every time.

Yeah, the problem is that many not-interested-in-you girls will say "I want, but I can't" as a way to say "No". Meaning that they make you lose time and "brain thinking" when they really don't want to see you. And the only way to distinguish a busy woman from a rejecting woman is... that the busy woman will reschedule, or at least express blatantly her interest in meeting. Of course, the enemy disagrees.

I've known at least a handful of girls who not only make up molesting stories but just lie and exaggerate shamelessly to get what they want. Exactly, and it's a great symptom of a manipulative mind. A symptom that I decided to ignore, among others. About the "reading" sentences, notice that sex isn't mentioned, not even once. The too-early-adulthood-experience could be anything.
