Couple questions. Would you expect this man to be monogamous with you during the waiting period? And if they were, after the waiting period would the frequency increase? I think if you are okay with a non monogamous situation for the first while, lots of men would be okay to try that. If you want monogamy I think the best option would be a lower sex drive male. Although there probably is a subset of men who would be okay with waiting and also have a high sex drive, but I imagine that demographic…

This. My high n count friends are struggling to find a long term relationship. They want to settle down but they’ve significantly hurt their options with high quality partners because of this.

Actually a lot of women aren’t attracted to men who sleep around, especially the actual high value women. The girls who see value in guys sleeping with lots of men aren’t the women you would want anyways.

And taller girls are also less attractive to men for the most part, because tall men are generally insecure and tend to look for shorter women to satisfy that. Because of this it seems there’s a lot of men and women in the 5’7-5’10 range who get matched up.

I find the hypocrisy in n counts quite funny. Most of the men I know who have partaken in large amounts of casual sex seem to have a plethora of ongoing issues and can’t seem to maintain any resemblance of a long term relationship. I feel for the most part extremely high n counts are either indicative of suppressed traumas for both genders, or an addiction of sorts that leads to more negative consequences than benefits.

I think this data represents a societal shift from reliance of males as providers to a more physical attractiveness realm. It doesn’t necessarily discredit red pill in the sense that they always argue that Chad gets women based on looks and perceived value, and no other redeeming qualities. The problem with data is you can interpret it in a way to your benefit.

My ex had all the symptoms of BPD. She saw a therapist who claimed she didn’t have it, but there’s absolutely no way she didn’t. Deep down I know she wanted to be a good person, but it was out of her control and she tried her best to get it under control. There was just way too many ups and downs and it took a huge toll on me. I ended up breaking it off slowly, but making sure she was okay mentally. We talk occasionally and I really hope she gets it under control because she does deserve somebod…

Who said I don’t want to get married or have kids? I just don’t want to rush into in 2 years vs 5. In fact I dated a girl my age from 21-26 and I was ready to settle down, but guess what, she wasn’t. And now she’s 31 and struggling to find someone ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/20 10:27 PM

Desperate isn’t the right word, and I understand their need to rush, but all I was saying I’m not in a rush. I want all those things but I also want to build a life with someone first. In order for me to do that at my age I have to date younger. I have two long term relationships in my 20’s that didn’t work out so here I am in my early 30’s.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/20 05:06 AM

I see you lack of a sense of humour :/ Your reading comprehension sucks. I say that I’m in no rush to run into a marriage with kids in >2 years. I like to date someone for 3 years minimum before marriage. That usually doesn’t fly with a 31/32 year old woman. I agree having a child before 35 is an age appropriate desire. So date a 40 year old man who wants kids before 45. The 20 year old isn’t giving up anything because I don’t want kids for 10 years, putting her at 30, the perfect age ;)

I’d post a pic but I’m afraid you’d fall in love with me. I’m cool with forming a life with someone, but don’t want it to be forced. I sense desperation in older women who are trying to keep up with their married friends. Most of my married friends in their 30’s who married in their late 20’s still don’t have kids, they want to experience things before their bogged down by being a parent. Lots of things in life that you want to try before kids anchor you down. My dad is perfectly healthy at 60. …

I’m 30ish year old male but pass as 26 or so. I find most women my age look much older than me, which for some might be a deterrence. My main hindrance when dating women in my age group is the expectation for certain societal norms to occur at a much faster pace than a younger individual. A 31 year old woman wants to be married and settled down with kids much sooner than a woman between 21-26. I liked dating when younger because people were with you because they liked you, not because what they …

Have you ever compared a 20-25 year old woman to a 20-25 year old man? Some women want mature men who don’t fuck around and know what they want. Sure they could find the 1/100 guy who’s around their age that’s mature, or they could go a bit older and find exactly what they want. Most girls I know in the 20-25 year old range complain how immature their boyfriends are and the stupid things they do. Is it wrong for a younger woman to want a guy who passed that stage in their life, or should they th…

Nah that’s bs. I know men who are under that height and have casual sex. Maybe you’re aiming too high. Let me tell you, most men aren’t having casual sex with 10’s. Especially if picking up from a bar. If you’re working out properly there is no reason why you aren’t building muscle unless you have a pre existing disease or condition. You know how to get casual sex. Stop focusing so much on the casual sex. Nothing turns someone more off than just being into them for sex. The best way is to not ca…

I’m not. You said that if you love someone you shouldn’t be able to physically hurt someone. Spanking in this context is the physical abuse that you mentioned a loving spouse cannot separate from. I was saying if parents can do it when disciplining their kids, why could an adult not do the same when “disciplining” their partner?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/19 04:50 AM

Not sure if I’m comparing apples to oranges here but most kids who grew up before millennials were spanked. Our parents still loved us. But for that moment they had a separation from love and focus on discipline.

In the book “Modern Romance,” Ansari notes that in some South American cultures, “no” is commonly used as a try harder mechanism towards men. Silence or ignoring is the true “no.” I thought that was interesting.

I’m just out of that age group, but it’s not only garbage women. I’ve heard horror stories about guys too. The main thing I’ve discovered is those that are 19-24ish grew up in a different relationship culture than those 25-30 (roughly). People around 30, had to go out in real life to meet and start relationships. People born after that relied on technology and it cheapened the effect of a meaningful relationship (friendships included). The younger you go, the greater the differences. I feel as i…

I’m in the same boat. I would say I feel lonely like 5% of my day (with regards to a partner). The rest of the day I could care less. I look forward to seeing my friends after work, on the weekends, etc. At this point I feel a relationship would just take away from those friendships.

I personally feel from both ends that most serious relationships shouldn’t start with sleeping with each other the first night you meet. I’d say the percentage of successful relationships that started like that are minuscule compared to those who chose to wait (whether it was a week, a month, etc). I can tell you with pretty good confidence that if a girl sleeps with me on the first date I will not consider her gf material. I would like to see that she values herself a bit more than that. It’s a…

I think other online dating sites are better when you reach 30. My friends have had success with Match, as there’s more emphasis on what you’re looking for. Half the game of Tinder is finding out what the other person is looking for without explicitly asking.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/19 02:53 AM

It’s unfortunate because I’m 31 this year and I didn’t use Tinder till maybe 26/27. I dated before apps were used and I can sit here in my rocking chair and complain things are different, but they most certainly are. I’m comfortable single because of that exact notion you stated of people being disposable. It’s become a game of “who cares the least,” until you find someone else to start playing that game with.

That’s probably what they’re afraid of. If you gave testosterone to males it acts as a decent contraceptive. Same way estrogen does for females. They’re probably just trying to remove all the benefits of it first.

Love is a hormone response. You live in a Disney fantasy world. I live in reality. I'm not devaluing friendships or relationships, but you seem to be missing the point. You cannot assign a dollar value defined by the relationship. You are making more assumptions than anyone here.

I disagree. I think a lot of this generation you define as the “me generation,” has experienced first hand the negatives of being raised by bad parents or in bad families, and don’t feel they themselves are capable of raising a child properly. Aka learning from the past generations mistakes. The ones with good families can procreate, I’m cool with that, but it’s a far smaller population. But to define it as being based on selfish reasons makes me think you’re a bit salty.

to add to this. you're correct. men who adapt and learn how to use the new apps and social conventions probably do far better than a man 50 years ago. if sex is merely a numbers game then in this day and age you have far more exposure to females, even if the return rate is lower, you should be blowing older generations out of the water in terms of relative numbers.

i think in general people here underestimate the feeling of "comfort." even if these so called new men/women elicit a positive response, anyone should know it is mostly temporary/fleeting, and you will end up in the same position again. for some i guess it's chasing a "high." as a man the amount of effort required to build these new relationships is a much greater investment, so i think it creates resistance for a male to do this.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/18 03:54 AM

May I suggest life is a good refutation to RP. Look around you everywhere you can see hot girls with less attractive men. You can see girls who value their ideas and hobbies. Women and men in equal relationships which work well for them. how is that a refutation? rp agrees that there could be relationships like these where an unattractive man is naturally sociable and likable, rp tries to teach the unattractive men without these skills how to attempt the same.

that was my goal as well. to see two conflicting ideologies and the reasoning for both. what im starting to see is the reason for satire is the lack of understanding. the assumption that all men naturally have the skills to bond and create relationships. it's unfortunate really, but i guess they don't seem to care because they are either women who despise men, or a minority of men that maybe everything magically worked out for.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/18 03:54 PM

You’re... you’re surprised and questioning a saltire sub for being saltire? no i'm questioning the purpose of a satire sub. it's like they have no good information so they have to resort to mockery. if they really despised RP and didn't want men to flock there, wouldn't they want to offer an alternative viewpoint/method... or is it because BP isn't an effective ideology in business/relationships/life in general?

Right but there's no control, repeatability, or any scientific method to begin with. It's a hypothesis based on anecdotes. Which is not to say it is incorrect for you to follow, but to say it's somehow more "scientific" is absurd. You want to bring probability into it, give me some numbers. red pill itself is clearly a systemic way of thinking, and if you can't see that, there's no point in arguing with you. if we're comparing probability of success with RP and BP i can bet someone never exposed…

So, most religions and traditions are "systemic studies" in your mind? no i didn't say that. what i said was that RP is mainly used for sexual strategy which has been broken down into a systemic process for people to further validate by following the same steps. for example to break it down simply for you, their hypothesis would be; based on our evaluation of males who have the most sex, we hypothesize that if you establish x,y,z in your life there is a high probability you will have sex. Why do…

Please do go on and cite some of these "systematic studies". There's nothing scientific about pseudo-psychology RP is extremely systemic. read this, try this, do this, workout, talk to xx, etc. the majority of their sexual strategy is methodical? then they post their results after following these procedures. if you can't see how it's systemic then you need to reread the definition of "systemic study." Lmao, did you miss the point? Just because there are "suggested readings" on the side bar doesn…

"I agree with RP and it makes more sense to me so I will defend it by claiming it's more objective and scientific" Science: the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment. need i say more? huh? That's the silliest argument in the world. BP is not burning books. And if I suggested you read mein kamf, while someone else didn't; it doesn't mean mein kamf has more validity. i…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/18 05:07 AM

That's fair. But then BP would be taking the stance that sexual strategy doesn't/shouldn't exist? Isn't that an illogical way of thinking? Every species on this earth has some form of sexual strategy. Or are they just against it in spite, because perhaps they experienced it and now feel guilty/remorseful about it?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/18 04:59 AM

"in a way it's more of a scientific approach, which goes along with most of the subscribers personalities" okay you find a better way to describe it comparing it to BP in terms of the methodology found on the respective subreddit. at the least RP advocates reading some form of literature, can't say the same for BP.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/18 04:51 AM
2

This is very close to how I see it. Sure RP has some stupid shit, but at least they seem to put some sort of effort into figuring things out. Based on my reading of the two subreddits, RP is obviously traditionally conservative male, but BP is majority feminist female? Would I be correct in that assumption? And I'm talking more so radical/anarchist feminists than a "i once took a feminist geography class in university" type. That alone would explain 99% of the differences.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/18 04:41 AM
3

These are solely my subjective experiences with both, as are yours. I'm not trying to create the illusion that RP is an oasis of free speech and science based facts, but it sure feels that way venturing between the two subreddits. Guess I'll have to find an RP approved moron to disagree with to get the full experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/18 04:33 AM

you would define people who post in BP as normies? I'd be interested to see the gender demographics of each group. To me it seems it can be simplified as conservative (RP) vs liberal (BP) in the majority of aspects.

Companies want women to work. They can pay people less that way. Think if suddenly 50% of the workforce was suddenly relieved from their duties, the demand for workers would go up substantially and so would the salaries for these jobs. Women could go back to being stay at home moms, and not having to work a job, and focus on raising happy healthy kids, instead of putting them in daycares with underpaid teenagers watching their kids all day.

Then it's you're responsibility to move on? Why kiss a girl who seems disinterested... or isn't showing any signs, there's many more out there that will show indications. And don't worry about missing out on the "one," there's no such thing. I've misread signals. She turned her head for a cheek kiss. She didn't call the police. It was awkward. We moved on. I can't fathom a situation with a girl where an attempted kiss would turn into a police charge, let alone a charge that would stick. Are you …

I don't know what scenarios you've been in that play out like that, but you only need half a brain to establish whether a girl is into it or not. And maybe if she's not explicitly protesting or resisting you should throw out a feeler to gauge the situation before escalating to sticking your tongue down her throat. At the point of kissing you would've likely established some sort of attraction between each other. Clearly you're doing something wrong if you feel you've escalated to kissing, yet sh…

They want to have their cake and eat it too. Simple solution. Don't get married. They just sound selfish to me. The point of marriage legal or not, is commitment. Either have an open relationship or end it.

I understand what you're implying but to understate studies of the required magnitude in n of 1 formats (although ideal) are extremely costly and hard to carry out. Do you think studies account for varying stages of men's lives and their testosterone production? Men have hormones too that can fluctuate. If they notice a pattern within a subset of the group they can address it, but if you only think women's hormone fluctuations are being disregarded in studies you are mistaken.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/17 08:52 PM
1

You want specific drug studies on minorities too? Christ we'd never see drugs get to market with you in power. I was talking about specific to women and hormonal changes. No reason for a small subset of women to hold up the release of a drug that can benefit many. Especially since women's hormonal changes vary across the board, it's not fair to everyone else who can benefit.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/17 06:22 PM
1

Those studies can be done post approval. It's hard enough for small companies to get drugs through the pipeline.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/17 04:55 PM

In some cases drugs need to reach the market fast. I'm OK with them not accounting for the hormonal cycles of women if that means the drug reaches the public faster

Some are probably. Some aren't. The ones that are you wouldn't want to date anyways so it's a non issue. They're in the same class of women who have minimum height restrictions.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/17 06:28 AM
3

I don't. I think women in real life are less concerned about n count in general. Men too. It's such a focus here but I know people in relationships who have had 100+ n count, and I know people with 1/2. They both seem equally happy. It's not so black and white
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/17 06:20 AM

First thing you have to recognize is women using this sub are probably in the 1% and aren't comparable to most women. In fact any woman using Reddit is probably in the 1%, maybe even less if they're using it for more than memes. So you have to take what they say with a grain of salt.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/17 06:10 AM

I've never heard women being picky about virgin men as an adult. Maybe when you're 14 that's an issue, but I know men in long term relationships who were virgins and the women were fine with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/17 03:57 AM

I disagree. It's possible to be a bit of both depending on the situation. You can't be red pill all the time, you can't be blue pill. Mix em up

Some of the best memories of university come from a combination of those things. Plenty of people can partake in those activities and still be successful. Just don't make it a habit. A lot of university is networking and selling yourself, so get out there and socialize

no i'd suggest socializing with them first and getting used to being around girls in a social setting. also how do you know if you want an LTR if you've never really been around females/had a relationship with one? hard to know what you want if you've never tried.

i don't know how 'good' your one and only sexual experience was, but i can say that you can't really miss what you haven't had. and until you have a good sexual experience with another being you will never really know what you're missing. not trying to say you're wrong, but sex with someone who you have chemistry with is infinitely better than masturbation imo.

my whole thought on this "new rap" is that it sells to the masses (aka white girls and white teen boys). growing up i mostly listened to rap and my music choices were always laughed upon/frowned upon jokingly by my friends.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/17 04:36 AM

Some guys are greasy. I've had gf's that had "so called friends," who would try to push the limits of flirting with them. I'm a guy and I know how they think.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/17 11:27 PM

Don't a lot of people here state that women are only good for that purpose anyways? So them figuring out that they're being used for that purpose isn't necessarily wrong? Why are you critiquing them for that...

Limited in terms of you're only having sex a couple times with that person. Not enough time to explore
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/17 07:33 PM
4

Going to latch on here and say that people who have been immersed in an LTR generally are more sexually aware and know what they like better because they are able to explore new things with comfort. High n count people rarely get that kind of experience because the turnover is high, and the encounter(s) are limited.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/17 03:46 PM
1

That's fair. But sometimes people can be turned on by more than the appearance, physical attractiveness isn't everything. And you may have good chemistry with the person sexually, so you don't know till you try.
/r/TheRedPill08/07/17 03:52 PM
21

That still doesn't make sense. The good feelings experienced through sex are brought on by more than just physical attractiveness. The vagina of a 6 is the same as a vagina of a 10. The only thing changing is the aesthetics. And FYI sex with 6's is more often better than a 10 because they try harder
/r/TheRedPill08/07/17 06:39 AM

Supply and demand. Tinder and similar dating apps have created an environment where there is now an endless supply to pick through, so people have adapted by raising their standards. Although like the economy I feel there will be a rebound when these people realize that, yes an attractive man/woman may sleep with you once, but that doesn't mean they'll date you
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/17 05:48 PM
0

I feel like it must be something else and they are using it as an excuse. That or you date shallow people, because I've never had an issue and I'm a similar height (aside from online where if a girl asks my height I ask her weight because I already know we won't get along)
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/17 05:33 PM
3

That's funny you say that because a lot of the tall girls (5'7+) I know struggle to find partners because they say all the tall guys also seem to want shorter girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/17 05:09 PM
3

I do the opposite and joke that I'm 5'1 so when I really meet them they're just happy I'm not that short.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/17 05:06 PM

This is a fair point. To women if you aren't at least a 7/10 you don't exist. I have sisters and get good insight to this. Recent conversation with one: "Why do no guys talk to me at the gym?" /r/PurplePillDebate18/06/17 10:29 PM

Is this a serious question? It can be a million reasons but one common one would be for validation. Girls can be insecure and seek approval from the other gender, especially now in the modern hookup culture

/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/17 06:19 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/17 06:17 AM

And I think that this is a valid distinction to make. The women on Reddit are the 1%, and they fail to realize the majority of women do not think or act like them because they likely do not associate or come into contact with these women in the real world.

So you're assuming her take home message from the first relationship is "I'm going to make my next boyfriend wait longer for sex," when just as equally it may be, "I'm not going to get into a relationship unless I know the person wants me for more than sex." I think women can manipulate language more to their advantage, however I don't think it results in more "interesting talks." But I'm basing your definition of an interesting talk being highly intellectual. Also to note is if their social interaction skills are so heightened, why do most females seem to have less friendships than their male counterparts? Perhaps social interaction is just a small piece to the puzzle of relationships, and men are able to overcome that obstacle by bonding over acti…

I'm a dude as well, and yes around other guys, men like to project unlikely beauty standards, but by all means they do not adhere to them because I've seen their girlfriends and girls they've slept with... I think it's moreso just guys being "guys," by trying to seem more masculine/macho than the other at the time.

if you build a larger shoulder/trap/upper back and get a v-taper, it gives the illusion of a thinner waist. waist can also be reduced by lowering bf%. only thing you could be stuck with is narrow hips, which is more troubling but with a v-taper and solid glute work, it won't be terrible.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/17 07:56 PM
1

You can modify the ratios by building mass on the top end or bottom end as needed. Look at any skinny shaped shaped person who became a bodybuilder. Sure genetics provide some limitations, but it's still more attainable than growing 6 inches.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/17 07:02 PM
1

If it gets to that point, trust me, he won't care.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/17 06:32 PM
3

That's fair. Which I guess is why men don't request unattainable physical characteristics when looking for a partner. However, those characteristics although somewhat genetic, can be physically altered. Build enough mass on your bottom end and your waist looks slimmer. You can modify those ratios to an extent. Again, still more attainable than an increase in height for men. Only option is lifts which is frowned upon, however breast implants and glute implants no one bats an eye.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/17 06:30 PM
3

So take my understanding of body shape types and apply it to the majority of men... we don't care as much as you guys think. All these things are just to pit women against women. Yes you can say men are more "naturally" attracted to the hourglass figure, but in reality men are attracted to most women, hourglass or not. In fact most men I know prefer smaller breasts, especially in the long term, so no need to keep pushing yours together.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/17 05:06 PM

3

You can wear a well sized push up bra and no guy would ever know the difference.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/17 04:35 PM

You can deal with it because 99% of men will probably still find you attractive, whether or not you have this "hour glass figure." I was moreso trying to point out that the OP was comparing apples to oranges with respect to her justification for "what guys want."
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/17 04:34 PM

Maybe rarer, but actually attainable if you eat properly and train/exercise. No matter how many vegetables a 5'7 guy eats, he will never be taller.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/17 06:40 AM
1

i disagree. you can still have plenty of hobbies and free time with proper time management. (reading, travel, arts, sports, etc) it's like my friend who told me "i don't have time to spend 2 hours to train every night." well he would, if he gave up sitting down watching tv for 2 hours that same night. priorities. i'm probably just super picky now.

If I had a nickel for every girl I meet, fat or skinny, who has no hobbies, and doesn't do anything active....it's kinda depressing frankly. does drinking red wine and watching netflix count as a hobby? because then id be rich.

i dont think its safe to assume that she learnt anything and that the next men will see any benefit from the lesson. she could more than likely continue these antics until she finds a man that will put up with it.

this is true. when hiring we would look for people with families because they had more to lose if they lost their job.

Similar situation here. "Let's share custody of dog!" 8 months later the dog has spent 3 weeks with her and injured herself requiring surgery. She can't take care of herself let alone another creature.

yeah its hard when their family is against you from the start. she temporarily disregarded them, but i should've known that would eventually change. now shes in love with her family again, after hating them for so many years. what a joke.

i was always intrigued by this. i'd be pissed if men had "sizes" and each brand was different. i have a hard enough time with t shirts, when a medium is tight at H&M, but loose at another store for example.

a lot of girls would rather suck a dick than let you fuck them. beats me, because i'd rather fuck a girl than eat her out.

well you're discussing increase the tax base. prostitution is illegal to buy there. so why not expand the tax accumulation in any way possible. because if it was truly an economic based decision, i'm sure there's better methods to pull in more taxes.

if it's econoimic, why not make prostitution legal and charge taxes on it? wouldn't that help the economy as well?

ask how much they weigh... maybe deflect... be like... "funny story, this one time when i was getting a suit fitted..." drag it on and end it on something completely irrelevant?

it's "important" for women...

very interesting technique, would weed out the majority of women just looking for a confidence boost as i assume they'd know whats up.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
