Why don’t you just go and see an ENT (ear, nose and throat doctor). I went to see one on Thursday and after 20 minutes the doctor agreed that I should get a tonsillectomy. At first he tried to sway me away from it because I’m older but I’m at my wits end dealing with reoccurring infections and tonsil stones. He signed the release form and now I can schedule the surgery for the next available spot. I didn’t consult my primary beforehand.
