Hi!! Really appreciate the recommendation - I have also heard some weird dicey things about shallon (predatory/grooming behaviors?) and I don’t believe everything I hear of course but just wanted to know if you had any thoughts about it. I know that this is going to be a super broad question but I'm just curious how often the other ladies in this subreddit have actually come across a HVM? Definitely giving this book a read! This passage makes me think about all the times I was sacrificing my desires/feelings for the sake of the person I was dating and it made me feel great in the moment for taking care of them but then I ended up losing myself.
