This ties into something I've never understood. I'm an adult male I'm 5'4 and 130 lbs. Some 220 lb guy can screw me over and if I stick up for myself and get my ass kicked people just say,"You shouldn't have been running your mouth." I asked the same questions. Apparently he is supposed to complete some course with the mother before signing. The judge didnt care that the mother had left with no way of reaching her. The judge said she didnt like divorce and and parents need to work it out no matter what and that its almost always possible. Friends lawyer is going to call him this morming with an update.

The man ends up in a labor intensive job for almost no pay and the female is given some administrative / receptionist job for a good salary.
