8	Match.com just acquired OKCupid. Amazon's a good counterexample, even if you disregard their good corporate culture – thanks. But I think there's a fundamental difference in the kind of business between Amazon and Match.com that stops me from being optimistic. Amazon & Zappos are in the business of selling physical things. It's easy to gauge profits from this, and as long as profits increase the corporate overlords will be happy.
