Seconding this — went out dancing this past Friday and I’ve been taking hip hop classes for the last 2-3 months and noticed so much more fluidity to my moves. I felt women gravitating to me and my friends because of my openness and “skill”. Wish I could say I danced with most of them, but I had a girl im seeing come meet me at the bar, so didn’t try to pull anyone and mess things up if she came in on it. But I’m pretty confident it would’ve worked out for at least one lady otherwise haha

I once saw a girl 4 days in a row after our first date. We just vibed really well and enjoyed each other’s company — we dated for a few months and was getting serious before ending things. So I don’t think there’s a right or wrong approach. It just depends!

I’ve had plenty of success getting dates off of apps. Just gotta strike while the iron is hot. Set up the date to e same day you match (ideally). I don’t use any crazy opener — pretty simple. I usually just say “Girls name!! How’s your cute self doing?” And then if they respond, shoot the shit for a bit and mention something like, would love to hear more about that over drinks and that usually works out well What do they say when you say when am I seeing you, etc

There's no science behind it my man. Sure I guess a sunset is romantic, but I don't stress it. And yeah, maybe. That's assuming she lives nearby too, since that makes for easier logistics. Don't overthink it. There's no "perfect" first date setup. Just have fun and treat them with respect, and you'll go far.

I'm in the east village, so I usually suggest the east river. And yeah I've done it in the cold weather too! If the vibe is right, I'll suggest heading back to my place for some warmth and we continue the date there.

I’m in nyc and I’ve done plenty of coffee dates and I don’t really drink either so I’ve had dates at bars where I ordered a club soda. So you’d be surprised how many are down Just suggest a coffee and a stroll around nyc

As someone who also codes for a living, I’m genuinely curious about coding from a bar. Are you usually off at a table or something? Whenever I want to work outside of home, I go to a we work, but something about coding from a bar and sipping a beer sounds amazing. And the added bonus of potentially meeting women, I love it. Please tell me more!

I generally keep it short — shoot the shit a bit (online dating) and schedule something later in the week. I don’t tend to text much leading up to the day (outside of maybe confirming meeting up) and I’ve had success with that Like I’ve set up successful dates after maybe 10 or so texts
