Any oxford shirt (maybe rolled sleeves) tucked into khakis with a decent belt + waxed/polished boots or sandals is my recipe... use a measuring tape to figure out your size, then wear that size. World's Leading Introverted Man

Possibly... or OPs food supply is tainted, or lactose intolerant.

If you don't get any of these signs, you may just be mostly oblivious (like me) and need a super clear indicator like them initiating touch or directly saying something like "you're really good looking" or "you can be my daddy"...

Yeah- be the "good guy", not the "nice guy".

Your metaphor sucks- you obviously aren't familiar with the Tao of Steve. The movie is basically what you said, but hilarious. Be the Steve, not the Stew.

Some women can be over-the-top obvious though- My favorite is the old "we're having a normal conversation, now seems like a good time to practice my yoga stretches" trick.

Swishing food-grade hydrogen peroxide diluted to ~10% concentration will do the same thing as the whitening strips, but costs less.

Yep- instead of chasing your desire, your desire comes to you. It's pretty great :)

I'd rather have a woman for a wingman than a man. Girlfriends are good to have.

I'm usually too caught up in my own head to think about seducing anyone, but attractive enough that women often make the first move- if they don't I probably won't. It's cosmo crap with a solid foundation in stereotypical gender roles. If the person you want fits the stereotypical male persona wait for them to make the first move; otherwise anything goes.

It doesn't shut her down, but gives her a chance to step up . Also shows you're not submissive but still fun =) EDIT: Word to the wise, it's important to be fun. I was at a show a few weeks ago and hb9 opens me with "You're so cute! But you need to smile more!" - I wasn't feeling too 'up' after keeping a friend out of trouble...

What I do? I mostly hike & mountainbike in the summer, but snowboard in the winter. Oh, you wanted to know what do I do for money?...

Women approach me fairly regularly, but I am reasonably attractive and carry myself well. You're right though- if you are interested in someone you should take initiative.

They wish they could just walk around and tell guys they're interested, but they can't. Women will often put out very clear signals, though. My favorite is the "impromptu yoga in the middle of a casual conversation"- Showing off their body to communicate their interest without fear of explicit rejection is a really neat tactic.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
