I have never had someone call me out in the way this comic portrays. Sexual preference isn't a choice, for example, I am (in general) only attracted to white girls, which sounds racist, but it's not like I've consciously chosen this. I'm going to go out on a limb and say something contrary to popular thought here. The sentencing was just. The boyfriend knew he was covering up for a vehicular manslaughter (regardless of how it was commuted) however the girl got unlucky driving over a pile of leaves and then got scared. However if the driver had been a man I doubt the family and judicial system would have been as kind to him.

Weird, I'd say around 30% of the time I tap someone on the shoulder to get their attention. Try in a friendly environment, like at a party, if you lack the confidence to even touch someone, alcohol is your friend. Parents can force or refuse medical procedures for their children, EMTs 'force' medical procedures on unconscious people and people can make medical decisions for their comatose or mentally handicapped relatives. I don't know, I am not in charge of it, but I would suggest some kind of legal thing.
