1	The younger generation is waking up. Well I was referring to more advanced math than the equivalent of Calc III/Early Diff. Eq. That sort of math comes up often in my work. Although I had an excellent understand of mathematics up through Calc III/Diff Eq many of the assignments I've received have involved math that I wasn't perfectly capable of simply looking up. I needed the equivalent of several courses in order to understand the concepts and applications of the required math. 2	The younger generation is waking up. While I agree that this is fairly true in school, with the notable exceptions of Electrical, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, that once you're out in the work force that your mathematical skills are one of the most important technical backgrounds that you can bring to the job. Perhaps this is due to where I've ended up working (in the Defense Industry), but at the same time the Defense Industry employs a fairly significant portion of the Engineering workforce.	/r/MensRights	05/01/13 02:54 AM
