Not a super helpful comment. The man is remarried but that doesn’t mean he’s going to fail. Everyone deserves their own happiness.

That’s a pretty messy issue and I’m going to guess not many others have gone through exactly that. Your attorney will be the best source of knowledge but the law most likely doesn’t state “whoever you think the father is owes the child support”. Law works as a matter of fact and due to the child being yours they may pin you for support.

While I am a bit younger and have kids, I can relate. Not only is a big part of your life changing but now you have to restart another! When going into a relationship, sometimes you sink so much of your life into it that you forget about what to do with your own life and your own hobbies. Lawyer is your answer key here. Even though it may cost $150, it’s a good investment to hear what you can get away with. The best course of action is to be civil with the ex. If there’s animosity she will want to ruin you. Make peace and come to an understanding if possible.

Sounds like you had every reason to be insecure. Hiding things is never okay. I’d let it ride and move on, there is always another girl to do you better.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
