Great message. I really fall victim to this kind of thinking staying home when I don't feel like it. But when my friends force or convince me to come I have such a good time in left thinking why the hell didn't I want to go

But then it begs the question on why would you want to become a high SMV guy if it's the average SMV guys that you say are happier. Isn't happiness the end goal, what is the point of a higher SMV for the sake of higher SMV unless you get something out of it greater than the lower level SMV guys

Very interesting reply. That's very true when I worked on WS it was the politics and back stabbing and red tape that was so frustrating really took away from the job. However I have friends in WS and they're miserable and hate their jobs. Do you really think that following your passion in work is futile? What if the topic that you're studying is of great interest. Then doesn't work begin to resemble more of an enjoyment?
