perhaps you are not from the US. they have been trying and sometimes succeeding in getting creationism added to books and curriculum in grade schools over here. this was never a big deal to the christians until people started telling them "no, creationism is really not true" then they put up this shitty wall and went insane. here is a wikipedia article all about it if you wanted something to read.

if you knowingly have unprotected sex with someone while knowing that you are infected with an std then you should be brought up on assault charges (i think rape is the wrong word, but you are inflicting damage on another person knowingly). this should already be true for either sex to either sex (man giving woman an std or woman giving a man an std).

This is why I'm sick of the feminist movement. There are legitimate issues faced by women, but the feminist boards--not only here on reddit--are full of whiny little children who don't know how to be women in the first place. Many of the comments are just complaining for the sake of feeling victimized, and I don't see any movement towards organizing and actually addressing the issues to make things better.
