Same. Half the time they just want a pair of ears to test their “feminist theory” on and don’t care whose they are.

The fact that it’s now “unfeminist” to say this is fucking baffling. My entire girlhood was spent avoiding grooming. Aren’t all of ours? The internet has just made it way easier for male pedophiles to reach girls. Like to anyone who genuinely believes onlyfans is empowering and aspiring for 18 year olds...look outside. By the time we’re double digits at most, we’re aware of those eyes on us. Our parents/guardians drill it into our heads to not sit with our legs open, not talk to strange men, not…

They don’t even always advertise themselves as a couple. Half of the female matches I used to get on Tinder would only have photos of themselves, but inevitably reveal they had a husband/boyfriend and I’d have to meet him or be involved. No fucking thanks lol

Yep. It’s projection. She can get it somewhere better (from herself) so all those fantasies he probably has of leaving her or cheating on her for attention are finally justified. Pathetic.

“Why Does He Do That?” by Lundy Bancroft. This was the most important takeaway I had from that book. Abusers say that they “lose control,” but they are able to remember exactly what they did, and their attacks are always strategically planned. Bancroft gives transcripts from domestic abusers in “recovery” programs, who constantly admit things like they know can’t hit her in public, people will notice so they have to wait til they get home, they wouldn’t hit their mother in similar circumstances.…

The one man I’ve met who didn’t watch porn before we met had a creepy religious “women drain my strength like Sampson” complex. He didn’t stop watching it because he cared about women, he did it because he treated women like an addictive substance after SSA and “quit cold turkey,” i.e. stopped seeing them as people and only as potential “temptation.” I’m surprised we were together for as long as we were considering how afraid he was of me 😂

Understanding this completely changed my life for the better.

This. Men automatically start pointing out women to me and making degrading comments, like I’ll join in or like same sex attracted women view women in the same disgusting way that they do. “Friends” or men attempting to date me, it doesn’t matter. It happens almost every time.

I need more too. If anyone needs a pen pal in these weird ass times, let me know (: I live far away from most of my female friends right now.

You just know it’s the middle of the night when he’s telling her to “go outside and just take a walk,” like most of us can even safely do that.

This is why feminism is for women ONLY. Male “”allies”” will mimic our arguments however they can, in order to maintain their selfish status quo. Like no man alive can sit up somewhere and educate me about misogyny, lol. I live it.

Glad to see this here. Made the mistake of browsing the front page too long (looking for election results) and saw this posted with a cringeworthy “black women do it best!” type of title. I’m sick of this stereotype that we’re the most “ride or die” a.k.a. the easiest to manipulate. That was the last comment section I wanted to be in.

This is what exactly what I’d assume and why I’ve never wanted kids, thanks for the confirmation.

No but surrounding yourself with women is actually an excellent fucking strategy. Distract yourself from dating at all and focus on those actual relationships you have, with women who aren’t always trying to find ways to manipulate you when you spend time together. My closest female friendships (and romantic ships) have been much more emotionally fulfilling than what men have had to offer.

This! The amount of praise women get for “standing by their man” when that man is a cheater, won’t help raise the kids, or constantly disrespects her. You see it with female celebrities all the time. Beyoncé keeping Jay-Z, or J.R. Smith’s wife making that video “praying for him” to stop cheating “because he’s just lost.” To LVM, women’s strength is defined by how well they can put up with abuse.

I’m Black and Latina. Black men who fetishize me for being red bone/light skinned are canceled from the moment they say it. Don’t compare me to other black women. I’ve had a few of them outright say that they only date light skin, to which I reply that I find the darkest skin possible on women so gorgeous (because I do. Colorism makes no fucking sense to me.) Latino men are uninterested until they find out I’m Latina (I mostly look black - very rarely some other Latinos will clock me - but peopl…
