Excellent post. My question to you: how do you plan to have a family under these circumstances? I'm still climbing the ladder and I'm afraid that once I'm in a similar position like you, I'd be seriously disillusioned when it comes to women and raising kids. What's your strategy to finding the right one? Do you sometimes lose hope?

I confess, that this issue gives me anxiety. I suppose if I didn't want to raise a family, I wouldn't care less, but unfortunately, I do, despite what lots of people on here say. I don't see how that would not make them gold diggers.

I think the student times are fundamentally different from the late 20s / early 30s, precisely because of what you've said: now they just want to have fun, later they are attracted to you also because of the status and income. I recently met a girl who told me precisely this. Even though she's a career woman, she wanted to have a guy with medium to high income by her 30s, who provides for the family. Right now, though, she was not looking for a relationship at all. It feels shallow and pretentio…

You're right. The fundamental assumption should be a positive one, not a Hobbesian one!

Your LTR game series is excellent. When I first subscribed to TRP, I was a bit put off by many of the plate spinning posts in this sub, since that's not the direction I'm going for. Looking forward to see more post on this!

I like your point on attention and attractiveness. But I think it would be too much of a generalization to say that there is a strong relationship between the two that tends to ruin them. That said, I recently met a girl that meets the checklist and looks great. But I couldn't quite figure out how attention influences her behavior/character. I think this is a difficult point to find hard facts for.

I think this is an excellent criterion and should be added to OPs post

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
