I've been reading up on the NHS site and it say's DBT is for women there too, however, the NICE website which governs the best medical treatments for conditions in the UK doesn't specify a sex/gender of the person to be treated using DBT. Yes, but women are physically incapable of getting prostate cancer. A better example would be breast cancer. 99% of cases are women. However, men can also get it after getting gynecomastia. Guess what happens? The men with breast cancer get treatment for breast cancer. 75% of BPD cases are women, I'll grant you. However, DBT was never created as a sex-specific treatment. I've attempted many times and as a guy I don't get help. I just get locked up in a mental hospital. For anyone who's never been in a UK mental hospital: It's just a prison staffed by nurses.
