Speaking from a guy's perspective, my ex girlfriend did something similar and it made me feel really bad and I couldn't accept it no matter how hard I tried. Not saying that with him it's neccessarily going to be the same way, I'm just saying my personal experience. One of the major tenants of RP theory is that men are the gatekeepers of commitment and women are the gatekeepers of sex. So imagine how you would feel if a boyfriend at some point became less commited to you in some way (what did I …

Summary using chatgpt: The user expresses deep regret and guilt about letting down their best friend, who is getting married in a week. They initially wanted to convince their friend to postpone the wedding, feeling it was planned too quickly in six months and that the friend deserves a better experience. The user was asked to be the maid of honor but, due to personal issues such as financial instability, depression, and unreliability, they unofficially demoted themselves to a bridesmaid. The fr…

Can you link the studies? I googled a bit but couldn't find them Edit: due to no reply I asked gpt 4 with bing this question and this is the answer that I received. I found a variety of studies and articles discussing pair bonding, the effects of the number of sexual partners, and gender differences. However, it's important to note that the studies available don't provide a clear answer to your specific question about men losing their pair bonding ability slower than women. One study investigate…

Bro this is exactly the method Socrates used to convince people to change their minds. He just asked the right questions until other philosophers came to their conclusion "on their own" but they were actually guided by his questions.

Cardio will help to make you healthier and decrease your appetite, you can lose weight without doing any cardio at all. I'd say try not to go too hard on the cardio because you send a signal to your body that muscles hold you back, so it releases hormones that kill your gains. I would do any cardio you enjoy (preferably light) and focus on eating less calorie dense foods (I can pm you Greg's cookbook). I don't place any importance on lifts and I haven't even tested my 1RM on any lift but just to…

I'm a bad example, I started training two years ago at 182cm 60kg with abs and have always struggled to eat enough to gain a lot of weight, currently sitting at 69kg with about 12% bodyfat and visible abs. I don't count calories, I just eat healthy food until I'm full. Cardio is limited to soccer with my buddies and going mountain hiking which is highly irregular. I generally don't do it in the gym because my main goal is to gain muscle right now. Also the subpar progress is because I'm struggli…

Having abs isn't just about your ab area, your whole neck and face will look more lean and masculine if you lean out. In my opinion you should go as lean as your body feels comfortable in (10-13% maybe) and then slowly maingain (gain muscle without gaining a lot of fat with low caloric surplus). However, my goals personally are aesthetics and longevity, if you find that gaining strength keeps you at the gym then bulk all you want. In the end you have to keep in mind that your smv will only reach…

Let's assume that women are paid less for the same job. In that case, only employing women would be the most cost effective strategy so the businesses that did it would be more profitable. Of course that isn't the case. Here women can be swapped out by any group or minority, it doesn't matter. The free market is really good at giving fair wages depending on the value workers provide for a company.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
