Maybe for pre-OLD If you're basing this in large part on online dating results, you should observe how few women engage in OLD in the first place.

It's not enough that it's legal, it must be celebrated by society! Something something fertility!

No one will stop you from dating an 18 year old. No one will stop other women from warning one another to watch out for vampires as well. Win win baby.

Checks and balances isn't a chain of command, it's means no branch has power over the others, they check and balance each other. In what you're describing, Dad's going to have to respect Junior's bid to never eat peas again or go into negotiations.

But not really, that relationship exists through blood, you're never going to get over that the way you'd get over a romantic relationship, even if you're estranged, even if it's your one true love. Again, I don't think that's love, even acknowledging that love isn't always a positive presence. I don't think that's genuinely love, I think when the person has such a negative effect on your life, love is the excuse to cover up the real reason. I see where you're coming from though.

No, I disagree, I don't think that is love. Further, I think a parent/child relationship is not a good comparison, that's not a relationship you can actually dissolve. Another example, codependence exists in a lot of relationships with addicts. Staying with someone who smears blood on your walls and steals your cash, that's also codependence. It's not love, it's the path of least resistance taken for survival. If you feel that genuinely is love, we'll have to agree to disagree.

Sure. However, someone staying with their abuser because other aspects of the relationship makes them "feel good" is codependence.

It isn't, but the kind of relationship you're referring to is.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/24 11:36 PM

Codependence.

No, that is someone getting hurt. It's unethical to continue if you know she has feelings, in my opinion. I think that's just the unfairness of life, people won't always go along with you how you want them to.

You know what, my guy, consider that you're just that charming that a well intentioned casual sexer lost her heart despite her best efforts. In all seriousness, sometimes it happens even when you try not to. It's a bummer for you that this usually means things end, so I don't blame you for being frustrated.

What are the checks and balances in your presidential husband home model?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/02/24 04:54 AM

I would definitely choose to abstain, for the hygienic reasons alone. One hopes I would be allowed to.

I believe it. Sometimes people bring their old baggage to the new car. Sometimes people are just mental. And there's no way to know early on because everyone puts on their best face at first.

Idk, I read it like "I'm single by choice andthis thing that happened to me repeatedly is why."

What does this mean, do we need a reason?

Sometimes the tasks and chores of life are easier and even enjoyable when we have someone to do them with, though living with someone else will multiply the work needed.

Yeah, life on easy mode apparently means you can have as much unsatisfying, disappointing, dangerous, or frightening sex you can handle. Yay lucky me.

I don't think that distinction is important in this particular context. That's my point.

She said it to the women of El Salvador in particular, who survived a Civil War. Considering that history, the speech is not the gender atrocity it's made out to be by certain groups.
