TIL! Thanks for the BBQ tip; the ignition switch always makes the gas flame out when I try to start it. 😅

To get to know me as a person, and to help me. There are truly great men out there who care about the human I am, rather than how they can use me.

Shh, don't give away my secret! I (30F) used to go on dates and, if I saw potential to the relationship, I would pay the whole bill and tell him he gets the next one. If I didn't see us going anywhere, I would pay my share and wish him well. It worked wonders in weeding out guys who were in it only to get in me.

Hermaneutics, hermaneutics. The context is vital here. If you can be single and focus on God and His work, do so! The passage goes on to say if you can't abstain from sex, then get married, for it is better to marry than to burn.

What is a "woman holding frame"? I've never heard the term before. And it doesn't matter what gender the writer is--male or female, this is abuse. Her sub isn't submissive, he's a victim of lack of education on both sides of this equation. He has as many rights as she does; a lot of sub guys are desperate enough to accept this just to not hear disapproval from the one he picked out to be his Mistress.

Low effort insults? No wonder you're a man going his own way--nobody else, man or woman, is dull enough to join you.

shakes head I'm a Domme. This list is abuse, and he should stop whatever he is doing and get away from her. I'm going to take a wild guess that they're both young (teens into early 20's); she's beyond ridiculous for thinking that this is how you top someone if she is indeed a kinkster, and he has to get up off his groveling, self-serving knees and run away.

Insecurity is unbecoming. I'm truly sorry that my gender has frightened or harmed you in some way--I only bite when I have consent, I promise.

There is a market for this, and it's currently only considered niche by the industry. I had to spend upwards of $70 for one skirt to get one with pockets in it (my work/college required all women to be in skirts all of the time, pockets are a necessity in day-to-day life), and nearly wore it out completely due to laundering it so frequently.

You mean the power of attourney, being named next of kin for disaster purposes, bringing him onto my health insurance, all that?

Typically it is the woman's family which pays for the wedding, but I digress. And that's all I, personally, want. Sign papers, eat a nice dinner, and go on a brief staycation.

Eh, men post in TwoX all the time. I'm not looking for a husband, just denting the echo chamber a bit.

Fair warning, I'm a woman. When we find skirts with pockets, we get really excited. A close friend of mine had to convince the person tailoring her wedding dress that yes, it did need pockets. We're absolutely convinced that feminine clothes don't have pockets because the fashion industry wants us to buy $500 purses instead. Then $500 shoes to match the purse. Then a $800 phone to put in the purse. Who runs the fashion world? Men.

Western woman chiming in--childfree due to abuse as a child; father was too weak to stop mother from drinking and harming us. I raised myself and my brother, I've served my time as a parent. Also, education on what happens during pregnancy and childbirth. shudder Nopenopenope. Can't nope hard enough.

"Treat me like a friend and fellow person before demanding that I get naked for you." --might be worded better this way.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
