Should there be a registry of false-rape-accusers?It really doesn't matter if the victim being charged with a false accusation is found not guilty, you're still putting them through an unjust trial at the behest of their rapist. It's just not worth it. So to recap: We have a proposed system that is: 1 Ineffective 2 Lacks utility 3 Creates situations where the victim can be victimized again by their attacker TL;DR It's a stupid fucking idea. | /r/MensRights | 13/10/14 08:08 PM
Should there be a registry of false-rape-accusers?Woah, no. It doesn't work like that at all. You can just look at other crimes: for example, when an accused thief is found not guilty, those who accused him aren't automatically prosecuted - that only happens if there's solid evidence showing they deliberately lied. Those other crimes don't have false-accuser registries either. The law would say that you're put on the registry if you are found guilty of making a false rape accusation. If the police/prosecutor think you lied, you'd have a trial, … | /r/MensRights | 13/10/14 07:56 PM
Should there be a registry of false-rape-accusers?It's already in the law: innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Now if you feel there's a problem because innocent people are sometimes found guilty without sufficient evidence, then the problem is with the courts, not with the laws themselves. That's not the issue I'm bringing up at all. There's a huge difference between (I'm going to hate myself for saying this) a legitimate false-accusation, i.e. the accuser admits they lied, and the case where a legitimate rapist/sex offende… | /r/MensRights | 13/10/14 05:15 PM
Should there be a registry of false-rape-accusers?That doesn't change any of what I said. | /r/MensRights | 13/10/14 02:27 PM
Should there be a registry of false-rape-accusers?That's great sentiment, but how to do you actually operationalize that and codify it into law? Finding someone not guilty of the accusation would imply that the accusation was false and you can't say the accusation was true after a not guilty verdict because that would be open to a slander/libel lawsuit. | /r/MensRights | 13/10/14 06:06 AM
| -1 | Should there be a registry of false-rape-accusers?What constitutes a false-accusation? A situation where the person admits the accusation was false, or just a failure to convict the accused? There's not too many problems with the first, but when an actual rapist is found not guilty for whatever reason, you're suddenly re-victimizing the person that was raped all over again. What's more is you've given the rapist the power to label them publicly as a "false-accuser". Then consider how often each of these problems occur. The issues of false accus… | /r/MensRights | 13/10/14 02:47 AM |
Men are required by law to register with selective service at age 18. Now that women are allowed in combat roles, when will they also be required to register?I think we should have mandatory two years military service when you turn 18 with the standard exceptions. Then, after you've served you get the GI benefits and go to college paid for by the government. Meanwhile, you've matured for two years and have a better idea what you want to be in life. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/14 08:49 PM

This double standard on "Pro-Choice" has always bugged meI would remind you that you're the one arguing that parents shouldn't have to pay for their kids. It's the not the most idiotic thing I've ever heard, but pretty damn close. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/14 03:50 AM

This double standard on "Pro-Choice" has always bugged meActually, I personally know a number of cases where that's happened, thus is why I believe to be true, tard. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/14 02:32 AM

| -13 | This double standard on "Pro-Choice" has always bugged meThat's not the way it works and there is no logical alternative. There's four options after the child is born: 1 Mother wants baby, Father wants baby 2 Mother wants baby, Father doesn't want baby 3 Mother doesn't want baby, Father wants baby 4 Mother doesn't want baby, Father doesn't want baby If the parents don't agree, one of them is on the hook for raising it and the other child support.
