Yeah there is a difference between setting yourself at a higher value and lowering the woman's value. In most scenarios, negging isn't even needed. The point of Seddit is self-improvement, not attempting to be an ass and insulting the women you're interested in. That's why I think there ought to be more clarification on negging so that the newbies learn to wield it in the correct situations.

Playful teasing is more my style anyways, so I don't see how negging would work well for me. Also not my type either mate.

The above article makes some good points, but I find that the #2 section about negging is less accurate. I'd really like some experienced sedditor input about negging since it seems to be a more advanced technique that isn't discussed as much on Seddit.

In all honesty, these questions seem geared towards high schoolers texting each other little quips rather than conversation pieces meant to attract women. I would not recommend this piece as solid advice.

I appreciated the distinction between style and fashion. There are some very good tips from the very best. Be a ladies' man and a man's man. Hit home for me.

Interesting situation I was in recently: Got friendzoned by current gf, Ended up hooking up with her best friend, dumped her best friend, waited a few weeks and my gf wanted me. Might do a FR about it. But my advice would be to change your focus off of her while you find other girls. Women often notice the lack of attention. But like studebaker103 said, you should definitely network because she may have some HB friends you may end up with.

Out of my experience with shy women I've dated, I've always been cautious about the ones who are inexperienced because I've had women who did end up becoming clingy. Not that all shy, inexperienced women are clingy or whatnot. Still a fantastic read. Greatly appreciated.

Respect man. I choose not to drink as well because I'm just not into it. Plus, it's even more badass when you can impress people sober. Kudos on the weight loss.

As a college student, I just say that I'm getting a degree in Engineering with confidence and that almost always displays alpha qualities when meeting new people. Most people I've met are genuinely impressed by engineers, and on more than one occasion I've met women who have relatives that are engineers. Additionally, you can use your own momentum of speaking passionately about your career path to find out what she is passionate about. This further opens up options for conversations regarding wh…
