Totally agree with that. I've had periods of time in the last couple years where I was all work and no play (eating right, lifting, studying, forcing myself to be social, nofap, etc) and times where I was all play and no work (lost my job and spent the next 6 months playing runescape for 12 hours a day). Now that I think of it, it's best to have somewhat of a balance.

Is that truly rewarding and worthwhile? I feel like me and a lot of other people my age (20 y/o) are open to the option of not putting in the effort of quitting vices and working hard to improve in life; but instead relax and be content with endless amounts of porn, weed, video games, and TV.

Thanks dude, I'll take that into consideration. A lot of people tell me paying rent is a waste of money but imo $300 a month really isn't that bad, I have no debt atm and don't have to make any car payments so I should be just fine since I have good money management.

I would do that if I didn't live out in the middle of nowhere. Where I live the population is under 1,000 and there is no people to meet or things to do. The apartment I'm getting is on a big college campus with 2 of my best friends from high school so I'll meet a lot of new people.. plus it'll be nice not having to drive 45 minutes to Walmart!

Somewhat relevant: NEVER take dating advice from a woman. It goes without explanation in subs like this but let me just provide an example; friend from college, 18 years old, hadn't even kissed a girl yet. Meets a girl and instantly catches oneitis, posting snapchats of them together at least 10 times a day. Won't take my advice to watch for red flags seriously but thanks his female friend for suggesting that he buy her presents. I'm interested to see how this one turns out lol
