Men don't get uglier in their 30s/40s unless you completely let yourself go

Most of this is just common sense?

You think people stop going to bars after their early 20s? And you lied about your age by 2 years? huh?
/r/seduction10/02/26 04:11 AM

Barely any public dates? I'm not saying you're lying, but I'm doubting these women were on the attractive side
/r/seduction07/02/26 06:03 AM

Why would it be height/ethnicity if you're getting a first date? That makes no sense
/r/seduction01/02/26 03:05 AM

5'8 is about average male height in the US...
/r/seduction29/01/26 04:27 AM

How is 5'8 hard mode when it's an inch under average height, lol

I've matched with tons of attractive women on dating apps...no attractive women are begging to come over and blow you, lol

I highly doubt those stats are true. 40 isn't old enough to just completely give up lol

You can't see 6 pack abs unless your shirt is off...

5'8 isn't even that short man.

That’s interesting, it seems like somewhat older women would be a little less strict. While they can still be attractive they’re usually not as attractive as when they were younger and obviously men prioritize physical appearance. I also wonder how much they care about facial appearance. Finding a 6’ dude isn’t that rare but finding one that’s fairly handsome too, I think you’re getting into rarer territory.

idk man, this seems overly cynical

What hints were they dropping? Just like body language and eye contact?

This story doesn't make sense. Whether it was her birthday or not, why would you decline?

This is bad advice, she's gonna find out eventually. Might as well get it out of the way.

How are you supposed to get anywhere if you don't ask her out? This makes no sense at all.

Why do you think someone being rude to you is an IOI?
/r/seduction08/01/25 02:46 AM

lol at you thinking being a Trump supporter is a positive thing. That just means they aren't too bright

Why is there a post about Seattle on here everyday? Is it the same guy?

Haha I'm a guy and was thinking this is super sketch

If I were you I would have texted her asking her out for a drink or something fairly quickly. I don't think endless texting gets you anywhere

Thought it was crazy you're getting 99+ likes on tinder. A previous comment you made says you describe yourself as a 6-7. How does that work? I'm considered a very good-looking guy and can't get shit on the apps. I'm guessing you're very tall, high-paying job? But I think the apps in general are just worse now. More monetization and I think less people are using them.

I'd probably prefer to just mention my age and get it out of they way right off the bat, otherwise I would just keep worrying about it. When you do bring up your age, are they usually surprised? Sounds like they don't care though so that's good to hear.

Those lines about running from spiders and Serena Williams are very cringe and not really clever, but I guess other than that's it's good info.

This stuff happens all the time on OLD. You gotta remember, she's probably talking to multiple others guys. There's also the chance she just deleted her account, I've seen that before.

Not sure how drunk you guys were, but alcohol may be a factor. There's been a few times where I've been out drinking, and girls were very flirty and even kissing me, only to be ghosted the next day. One girl texted me just to apologize for her behavior and said she had drank too much.

There was no shift, dating apps have always sucked. They just suck a little more now as they're more monetized

How have you approached them at a gym? Just ask about their routine and stuff? I go to small private gym where I see a lot of the same people often, there just aren't a lot of opportunities to approach without it being awkward
/r/seduction16/10/24 12:36 AM

Who initiated the conversation and what was said? I'm finding gym approaches so difficult, there just really isn't any opening for an approach

It's probably best to take a break in the conversation early and give her a chance to continue it. You don't need 40 minutes for that.

No, this is dumb. You're gonna look like a dumbass when you take your shoes off and she's see you drop 3/4 inches. You really think people won't notice that? lol at this sub.

“So so so, you have decided to come down the path!!! Of being gorgeous, huh!? 😤 Look at you! Stuff like this is so cheesy man...It's also just putting them on a pedestal.

It's so dumb when people on here recommend 3+ inch shoe lifts. You're gonna look like a dumbass when you take your shoes off and she sees you drop 3 inches, lol

Tell her you have about 8 or 9. Offer to fit her into your rotation.

“Hi, I’m Bob. I just wanted to tell you something. I’ve been really shy and nervous when talking to attractive women my entire life and today’s the day I decided to defeat this fear once and for all. So I just wanted to come up and tell you about that. Nice meeting you”. This doesn't exactly ooze confidence though.

It seems like she isn't interested. I mean declining 4 times, whatever the excuse seems like a lot. Seems like she could have always rescheduled if she was interested. I'd move on.

Damn, you're doing great. Do you live in a big city? I've been told all my life how good looking I am yet I really struggle on the apps. I'm 37M. I'm in a smaller-moderate sized city and I'm wondering if that's the issue. I'm also 5'9 which I guess is considered short on the apps, lol.

The difference is walking away without saying anything after talking for 20-30 seconds isn't that weird at all. Walking away after talking for like 15 minutes like we had is. Wouldn't most normal people would say something like "Ok, nice to meet you, bye" regardless of the level of interest? The tattoo thing was just a joke to start a conversation. Just didn't land.
/r/seduction28/07/24 03:47 PM

Who would want to be with a woman that uses tinder as an ego boost? That's a pretty red flag.
/r/seduction28/07/24 04:48 AM

Wasn't her walking away without saying anything a rejection though? I have more pride than that.

I've also noticed that while superlikes barely work on Tinder and are apparently seen as creepy, they actually work really damn well on Hinge. I've been sending out roses without even a message and been getting good matches, and sometimes they even send the first message.

That was bugging me too. Not sure why you got down voted. No wonder people on this sub can't pull, lol

Night life venues have been on the decline? Not saying you're wrong but I've never heard that and it doesn't make sense.

I did provide some banter, and she even laughed at it. Also, some people in here are saying she probably just wanted to hook up and I feel like I did enough for that.

I'll probably go next week but not because of her. She's probably not interested. I should have used that line though, haha that's good!
