The double standards and cognitive dissonance should not be surprising at this point.

The fact she openly admits to it makes it even worse... wtf??

They’re really obsessed with the idea that all men care about is women and sex, a lot of their arguments revolve around gender stereotyping which they’re supposedly against. It’s also why they call anyone who disagrees with or criticises feminism “incels” or “misogynists”. In that post alone they all made gross generalisations about all men and as though legitimate reasons for seeing and believing there is misandry in society don’t exist.
/r/MensRights18/09/20 11:54 PM
4

The top comment really stuck out to me, because a lot of what they said correlates to what people say about feminist women. Because the individual doesn’t have “power” or “personal success” they create an ideology (feminism) or mindset (victimhood) that they are unable to achieve anything because they are oppressed as women, hence the need for gender discrimination in hiring (quotas), laws to protect women specifically etc. It’s quite ironic that they’re using an analogy used to debunk female op…

How am I meant to know that lmao? The time it takes you to “tweak luminosity” you could easily find someone’s profile by searching up the tweet on twitter. The names are covered up so calm tf down

The world he is describing is the world we are living in now
/r/MensRights16/09/20 12:18 AM

There is little support or funding for male victims of domestic violence despite most mainstream sources showing that men make up around half of the victims. Domestic violence can never be solved if people are going to ignore the female perpetrators, especially when in a lot of these cases of female victims, there is reciprocal violence within the relationship, some are abusive themselves.
/r/MensRights15/09/20 11:35 PM

There’s a huge difference between promoting obesity and spreading positivity to others about their bodies, especially for attributes that can’t be changed.
/r/MensRights11/09/20 10:28 AM
2

The person saying that men don’t experience body dysmorphia in the OP was ironically a man. This is not men vs women.
/r/MensRights07/09/20 02:10 PM

Sometimes a tough stance is required when people are literally denying reality and make gross generalisations which are proven false.
/r/MensRights07/09/20 11:12 AM

Exactly, is it okay to go and assault people who said mean things to us? Just cause it’s part of a culture doesn’t mean we should defend it
/r/PussyPass03/09/20 10:35 PM

I think it’s even more telling how fucked up it is when tall guys and tall girls point out the hypocrisy. Same with racism towards white ppl, ppl only seem to listen when POC call it out
/r/MensRights01/09/20 03:34 PM
4

It’d be called misandry technically, but it’s essentially Body shaming ppls natural features unlike when feminists use “body shaming” to purely call out ppl making statements about overweight or obese ppl
/r/MensRights01/09/20 03:09 PM

Receding hairlines (male pattern baldness), Average-below average height, small-average penis sizes, are all genetically predisposed but people take these completely normal and common genetic predispositions to insult and shame men. The moment someone makes a comment on a woman’s weight it is “misogyny”, so what do we call this, which is much worse?
/r/MensRights01/09/20 02:27 PM

It’s a girl I think, they’re like a fan account

Whenever someone makes a “joke” about a woman’s body, everyone comes to their defence. But when the same thing happens to men, that same energy is non-existent and we are told we can’t take a joke. Why is that?
/r/MensRights31/08/20 05:23 PM
2

Yeah and it’s a huge problem considering the mass incarceration of males for the same crimes which women wouldn’t go to jail for. Some statistics have shown that 70% of non-reciprocal DV involves women as the perpetrator. The reason male domestic abuse is talked about so little is because of the zero-minuscule funding for male shelters, as well as the fact when reporting that they are being abused by their wife, the same man is more likely to go to jail himself.
/r/MensRights30/08/20 12:31 AM
2

Feminists don’t really have anything other than circular logic. Any time you present them with a fact or statistic they will respond by gaslighting you with terms like “toxic masculinity” and “patriarchy” to put the blame back on men for even problems they themselves have caused or instigated. If you were to debate a feminist in person they would lose (and if you’ve seen those types of debates before you’ll know they always fail to present facts or evidence but rely on logical fallacies such as …
/r/MensRights29/08/20 11:22 PM
3

Most mainstream sources show that almost half of domestic abuse victims are male, in the US the majority of rape victims are male. How do such statistics prove that women are the most oppressed? It seems like such “oppression” is genderless.
/r/MensRights29/08/20 11:15 PM
2

Something like that would be pretty awesome, probs a good way to educate/inform people that are on the fence about it as well.
/r/MensRights29/08/20 11:12 PM
2

It was relevant because that’s what the user presented themselves as. I’m not gonna spread false info about them, from their profile they engage in BLM/Intersectional feminism, the two are closely linked. I wasn’t just gonna say “she’s a radical feminist” cause I don’t know that.
/r/MensRights29/08/20 03:32 PM
2

I’m simply clarifying their political position, since it was in question lol
/r/MensRights29/08/20 03:23 PM
2

I see it on Twitter the most. And unfortunately the only people I’ve seen shutting men down for defending each other were feminists. Real life pretty much relies on anecdotes but I haven’t seen much “body positivity “from men or women.
/r/MensRights29/08/20 12:08 PM
3

You’re unfortunately in the minority tho, I think it’s counterproductive to call egalitarian feminists “feminists” because of how estranged they are from mainstream/radical feminism. I agree and I defo believe the term egalitarian is better because it makes it much more clear where you stand on equality and doesn’t lump you with the mainstream feminists.
/r/MensRights29/08/20 11:27 AM
4

It’s still a feminist tweet lmao, all we’re doing is pointing out that they aren’t for equality as they claim to be. The “feminists are for equality” line is only used when feminists get caught saying sexist or problematic shit
/r/MensRights29/08/20 10:58 AM
9

It’s a tweet by a feminist going against the “feminists are for equality” motto. And that’s bs, you wouldn’t be a Christian if you were actively advocating for people to sin and commit adultery etc.
/r/MensRights29/08/20 10:49 AM
7

I’ve always seen men defend other men when people body shame them for their height, penis size etc, the person replying in the screenshot is literally doing that lol.
/r/MensRights29/08/20 10:46 AM
21

The tweeter is a BLM feminist so she’s kinda lumping herself with feminists on her own lol.
/r/MensRights29/08/20 09:41 AM
11

For context, she’s a BLM feminist. They usually always are.
/r/MensRights29/08/20 09:38 AM

The tweeter is a BLM feminist, it is most definitely a feminist’s tweet.
/r/MensRights29/08/20 09:37 AM

She’s not white
/r/MensRights29/08/20 09:34 AM

For context, the OP tweeter is a BLM feminist, so you’re probably very wrong there lol.

More specifically obese women. You don’t ever see any obese, overweight (or for the most part average-sized) men on a magazine cover or modelling, as you do obese and overweight women.
/r/MensRights29/08/20 02:06 AM

Some of them actually mean it https://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/hq0khg/so_this_is_the_justification_for_violent_language/

Literally any anti-men, male shaming, radical feminist tweet will get hundreds of thousands of likes guaranteed.
/r/MensRights29/08/20 01:36 AM
30

It’s more about the double standards and hypocrisy from the groups that claim to advocate for “equality”. Whether or not you think there should be a body positivity movement is irrelevant here, because attacking someone for something beyond their control, like height or penis size, is a completely different conversation to the “acceptance” of obesity and it’s health risks.
/r/MensRights29/08/20 01:13 AM
4

In this case the OP is a woman, but abuse in lesbian relationships is rarely spoken about because of a woman being the perpetrator
/r/MensRights24/08/20 11:44 PM
6

I mean they literally were outraged at the so called “pink tax” despite it being false in the first place
/r/MensRights22/08/20 11:11 AM
8

I like how they thought this would get ppl mad, when in reality no one gives a fuck lol
/r/MensRights18/08/20 08:18 PM
5

But apparnerly that’s “marginalising” women when the alternative men are reduced to was hard, dangerous physical labour and fighting in the war. I’m sure back then being a caregiver would’ve been considered a privilege as opposed to this male alternative
/r/MensRights17/08/20 03:03 PM
10

And now they’re saying “I’m actively fighting against the system that does this” whilst also saying that “the system you’re fighting is not the root cause of this”, talk about a walking contradiction. Sometimes I wonder if there is even any way to help them understand the fault in their narrative.
/r/MensRights17/08/20 11:47 AM
16

Tell me about it, I tried mentioning it on the thread and have ppl crying to me about how the system is misogynistic and how I’m an “incel” because I use this sub lmao. And when I pointed out the parts of the system which favours and is biased towards women, they flat out ignored it and just decided to make a personal attack on me, rather than address the issue at hand.
/r/MensRights17/08/20 11:37 AM

They all really calling this “misogyny” working against men when it’s clearly misandry...

No shit, if FGM is not okay, then what makes you think MGM is?
/r/MensRights15/08/20 11:37 AM

FGM is also practised in some religions and within cultures, does that make it okay?
/r/MensRights15/08/20 11:34 AM
47

They’re worse lol
/r/MensRights14/08/20 02:27 PM
6

That’s true, and a shame given how it’s objectively more sexist than subs like MGTOW which are quarantined. The homophobia wouldn’t slide though, so it’s more of a question of whether anyone would be willing to torture themselves enough and go past the first few posts in the sub and find even worse stuff than this.
/r/MensRights12/08/20 09:44 PM
4

How has that sub not been banned yet
/r/MensRights12/08/20 08:13 PM
4

Nice to see the comment section is fairly supportive. Usually people try to dodge this topic.
/r/MensRights09/08/20 04:43 PM
5

It’s not just about being straight, they’re starting to use the term “cis male” exclusively now and use heterosexual less, because to them simply being male makes you privileged. Feminists are starting to exclude gay men from the group they pander to.
/r/MensRights06/08/20 07:51 PM
2

The girls in the background saying “Don’t touch us. Don’t touch us. You are not about to touch her!” they really thought they were the ones getting assaulted ...
/r/PussyPass06/08/20 06:47 PM
28

Is gender theory basically what they teach in gender studies degrees?
/r/MensRights06/08/20 01:48 PM
6

No they’re calling OPs mentality toxic and saying we should want to spoil our partner and not use their gender as a reason not to.
/r/MensRights06/08/20 11:29 AM

non-trans straight men. they try really hard to undermine trans men being men as well in posts like this but don’t even realise it lol
/r/MensRights06/08/20 11:28 AM
1

I believe this is what the feminists call “derailing”
/r/MensRights06/08/20 12:18 AM
7

The rules state you can only post about women’s issues on there. I’m pretty sure they recommend using r/menslib to talk about men’s issues though, but it’s even worse than r/feminism lol
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates05/08/20 04:10 PM
3

They don’t allow you to post anything another than women’s issues in that sub. Men’s issues are literally banned. It’s one of the rules.
/r/MensRights05/08/20 01:39 PM
4

On the rules of that sub it states that you’re only allowed to post about women’s issues. If feminism was really about equality they wouldn’t discriminate against who’s issues should be talked about.
/r/MensRights05/08/20 12:53 PM
24

Your post got deleted on the r/feminism sub, I think that tells you just about everything you need to know about the mainstream feminist movement and why people are so wary of it.
/r/MensRights05/08/20 12:27 AM
1

Could most likely be a guy for all we know
/r/MensRights05/08/20 12:23 AM

And also the assumption we’re all male. There are plenty of female users on this sub.
/r/MensRights05/08/20 12:20 AM

“Sexually harassing a man? Meh. Sexually harassing a woman? That’s crossing the line!!...”
/r/MensRights04/08/20 03:45 PM

I mean it is Facebook, the least PC platform by far. The hypocrisy is blatant af though, won’t see that much body shaming on a female model post.
/r/MensRights03/08/20 10:48 AM
2

It definitely is, I’d be happy to do a post on it at some point. But I might need to find some “sources” to back it up without just using my general knowledge on the subject, as I’m assuming that wouldn’t go down well. But, just looking at the principles of the ideologies, they’re very very similar.
/r/MensRights03/08/20 12:32 AM
1

Do they not realise how stupid it makes them look? Throwing around “insults” without any rational argument does not provide any value to their point.
/r/MensRights03/08/20 12:29 AM
2

My original comment wasn’t responding to them, they just decided to attack me randomly today because I was pro men’s rights activism. I didn’t bother trying to reason with them though, clearly they’re beyond helping.
/r/MensRights02/08/20 10:58 PM
3

Nope it’s a thing bro, they really do believe that https://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/ho44d0/
/r/MensRights02/08/20 10:03 PM
2

Yep I’ve seen that, it’s not considered “sexist” or “anti men” though because double standards.
/r/MensRights02/08/20 09:40 PM
2

Oh sorry, I thought you meant it the other way round lol. But yeah, that’s not something they’ll ever consider because of how hostile they are.
/r/MensRights02/08/20 07:02 PM
12

They call it “internalised misogyny” - perfect way to not take responsibility for their own actions.
/r/MensRights02/08/20 06:49 PM
1

What
/r/MensRights02/08/20 06:44 PM
1

Yeah I definitely agree. Being young doesn’t excuse their behaviour either. The aggressive tactics they use to try and get their point across does not help their argument at all. The adults tend to be more authoritarian though and just accuse you of “misogyny” for simply posting on this sub lol.
/r/MensRights02/08/20 06:33 PM
2

I mean, critiquing an ideology (feminism) is not the same as being hostile towards human rights activism (MRAs).
/r/MensRights02/08/20 06:23 PM
9

They say this as though radical feminism isn’t literally WGTOW. I’m fairly certain the feminist here is a high schooler though, they sound completely unaware and unknowing of anything they mention, and just spout out “incel”, “MGTOW” and “anti-feminist” as though they all mean the same thing. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t actually know what incel means.
/r/MensRights02/08/20 04:33 PM
8

Didn’t people used to say the same about radical feminists and how they “couldn’t get laid” so made a movement to “hate against men”. They’re basically accusing men’s rights activists of being the same as incels and incel culture, when feminist culture is ironically far more synonymous with that and MGTOW.
/r/MensRights02/08/20 04:27 PM
10

“If you support men’s rights you’re a feminist, but if you support men’s rights and use that sub you are an incel and can’t get laid, fuck you!”
/r/MensRights02/08/20 04:23 PM
7

Apparently “not because of their gender”, though I’m not sure the same could be proven for misogyny in all those things they mentioned either.
/r/MensRights02/08/20 03:06 PM
1

Some say it’s a joke, but many admit that they actually mean it: https://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/hq0khg/so_this_is_the_justification_for_violent_language/
/r/PussyPass02/08/20 01:33 PM

It may not be offensive to everyone, but it sure isn’t any more justified than saying the opposite
/r/PussyPass02/08/20 12:28 PM
3

Being a single mother is “empowering”, being a single father is a “joke”. Nice double standards.
/r/MensRights01/08/20 12:43 PM
7

I mean you can’t even post anything on there that isn’t adhering to their ideology, let alone discuss an issue with them.
/r/MensRights01/08/20 12:41 PM
2

That’s one hell of a reach lmao
/r/AntiFeminists31/07/20 11:02 PM
14

I wasn’t commenting against the meme, just the fact that girls usually mention beards whenever ppl say something negative about makeup
/r/AntiFeminists31/07/20 02:24 PM
97

Except beards are natural, makeup is not. Hate when ppl make this comparison
/r/AntiFeminists31/07/20 10:26 AM
4

You do realise that it is a made up term and is completely useless in combating any type of double standards or lack of support for male assault victims
/r/MensRights28/07/20 06:25 PM
3

You can’t upvote or downvote which means it’s been removed
/r/MensRights26/07/20 01:11 PM

I wonder what the political beliefs of that mod were ... definitely not a feminist right
/r/MensRights26/07/20 11:54 AM
1

This is actually so dark and messed up
/r/MensRights25/07/20 12:49 AM
2

I mean whenever someone mentions MGM they just scream “FGM is so much worse, stop discounting women’s issues”. They see oppression as a competition.
/r/MensRights24/07/20 02:01 PM
10

Not even sure if it is satire at this point, some feminists do genuinely believe this
/r/MensRights24/07/20 01:38 PM
85

This was one of the comments: “It fucking annoys me too that now that female graduation is going up, male is going down. So like, male don't seem to want to bother getting educated if giiiirls are doing it too. I'm sure there's some other correlation, but that's my gut reaction.” apparently the education attainment gap is because boys don’t wanna copy ‘giiiirls’ cause it’s uncool and definitely not because of any sexism towards boys.
/r/MensRights24/07/20 01:46 AM
5

That’s the problem though - everyone faces hardships. If it’s because of their gender, then everyone should be supporting them and the focus shouldn’t just be on one specific group. Feminists and MRAs aren’t really comparable, because feminism is both an ideology and a movement, MRAs are just activists and they can also advocate for women’s rights without an ideology or movement telling them not to
/r/MensRights24/07/20 12:26 AM
2

Exactly this. They either know very little about men’s issues or very little about the feminist movement itself.
/r/MensRights24/07/20 12:21 AM
3

The “definition” IS the the advocacy of women’s rights. A movement which has a goal that has already been exceeded should not take the lead in the discourse of equality, nor should it be considered as appropriate.
/r/MensRights24/07/20 12:20 AM
3

I’ve not seen much criticism from feminists here on reddit and definitely not a on social media like twitter. Well, at least on this sub I’ve seen any misogyny or toxic comments being downvoted and called out.
/r/MensRights24/07/20 12:16 AM
63

It’s just a feminist sub to talk about men’s issues in the light of the patriarchy, blaming men and “toxic masculinity” for all the worlds problems. There might be some moderate stuff on there but afaik people have been banned for disagreeing with any of its radical feminist takes on issues.
/r/MensRights24/07/20 12:09 AM
5

Are you sure they’re feminists or do they just call themselves feminists out of peer pressure? The majority of these “real feminists” you’re referring to rarely ever speak out or call out the radicals. If they believe in equality and call themselves a feminist for that reason it doesn’t make them a feminist. Being a feminist involves actively advocating for women’s rights and engaging in feminist discourse, protesting etc.
/r/MensRights24/07/20 12:06 AM
10

Radical feminists have always been at the forefront of the feminist movement. They are the movement. The definition of feminism quite literally is “advocacy for women’s rights” on “the grounds of equality”. By definition this isn’t bad per say, but in practice it involves advocating for women’s rights only, and shutting down any discourse on other issues (as you will see on every feminist subreddit). They require you to adhere to the patriarchal belief that men are the oppressors and women are t…

Lol such a mess. Maybe if feminists actually spoke about men’s issues in a way that doesn’t victim blame there would be no need for MRAs and others to “steal the spotlight from the oppressed women”
/r/MensRights22/07/20 11:26 PM
34

And these are mainstream feminists, not even radfems
/r/MensRights22/07/20 08:08 PM
11

Just watch any YouTube video of them being interviewed in person, they always make a fool of themselves
/r/MensRights22/07/20 07:30 PM
50

Literally every post on there about valid men’s issues or an instance of misandry is responded with denial and “that’s just one person... men are the oppressors of women, you can’t be sexist to men” comments
/r/MensRights22/07/20 07:07 PM
15

“Twitter for iPhone” trying to talk about how oppressed she is. Makes you wonder if they even realise how privileged they actually are
/r/MensRights22/07/20 12:20 AM
76

What a surprise, the post got deleted.
/r/MensRights21/07/20 10:36 AM
72

Why do they see mentioning the fact MGM is still legal in western countries somehow a threat to women? I don’t see anyone stating that MGM is worse? Once again bringing up men’s issues is regarded as “whining” and taking away from discourse about women’s issues - who says we can’t talk about both?
/r/MensRights20/07/20 01:18 AM

Her responses to tweets calling her out “abuse in any way is no laughing matter at all. However the men taking this as a personal attack against them without checking out the refuges for men are a joke, yes” “If you look at their terms you’ll also see that they accept men as refuges if you were really that fussed you would’ve checked 😊”
/r/MensRights18/07/20 09:19 AM
1

If you type in “queue the “what about refuges for men” in the Twitter search bar you can see the reply too. A few people responded and she backtracked very quickly
/r/MensRights18/07/20 09:15 AM
2

You’re gaslighting a domestic abuse victim, how do expect us to take you seriously? But to answer your ignorant question - you’re wrongly assuming that the abuser wasn’t strong just because they’re a woman (that’s sexist). They may or may not have used a weapon? Physical abuse often involves emotional abuse, neither has to be separate. But keep on victim blaming, abuse apologist.
/r/MensRights14/07/20 02:32 PM
2

Found the psychopath
/r/MensRights14/07/20 01:27 PM
2

Ok but you literally victim blamed him for getting his nose broken, do you not see the issue with that?
/r/MensRights13/07/20 07:13 PM
11

He shouldn’t have to fight back, she shouldn’t have assaulted him in the first place
/r/MensRights13/07/20 05:40 PM
1

I don’t see any woman bashing. The girls in the tweet literally just pointing out something that men MAY face, if you think that’s “bashing women” and “sexist” then you’re part of the problem. If you can’t acknowledge the societal conditions men are living in then you’re obviously too “privileged” to be speaking on it.
/r/MensRights13/07/20 04:18 PM
1

You also forgetting those tweets were written by women??
/r/MensRights13/07/20 03:55 PM
6

In the same thread the top comment was literally someone saying “I’ve never heard anyone say that, it’s only ever mentioned by men” yet ppl in the same thread are literally advocating for the phrase ... oh the irony
/r/MensRights12/07/20 11:34 PM
4

“it’s only bad if we actually kill men, we’d do it if we got the chance but we haven’t yet so it’s totally fine!!”
/r/MensRights12/07/20 11:26 PM
1

It would be interesting to hear what feminists would say in response to this.
/r/MensRights12/07/20 10:55 PM
11

MRAs are “incredibly misogynistic” - this is what feminists are saying. Anything that doesn’t conform to their worldview is perceived as misogyny. They find it okay to generalise other movements and entire groups of people but the second someone criticises or generalises them it is “crossing the line”. Oh I wish they could look at themselves and see what they’re saying.
/r/MensRights12/07/20 10:51 PM
6

Apparently hate speech can’t apply to male victims when it concerns their gender. Men are the “oppressors” of all beings, that’s their excuse. Any bad thing that happens to anyone is because of men, so of course they want to “kill all men”.
/r/MensRights12/07/20 10:41 PM
11

As long as they’re “fighting for the equality of women” anything they say can’t be sexist or problematic
/r/MensRights12/07/20 10:15 PM
19

They’d usually say “those aren’t real feminists” so I was shocked to see them actually supporting the “feminazis”
/r/MensRights12/07/20 09:29 PM
19

I know most people say this phrase is used as a joke and sometimes people do use it as a joke (obviously in poor taste), but here they are giving justification for the phrase on the basis of anger and self-esteem - they actually mean it when they say it. Threats of rape and violence shouldn’t be taken lightly if they’re from a place of actual enrage as they’re saying it is.
/r/MensRights12/07/20 07:43 PM
5

Like the media doesn’t flaunt men with ripped muscles and abs. Humans are over sexualised by the media in general
/r/MensRights12/07/20 06:49 PM
1

You also forgot how men can be minorities. Do minorities only matter if they’re women? Hmm
/r/MensRights12/07/20 06:09 PM
5

I like how they think advocating for men’s issues will somehow take away everyone else’s rights and cause further inequality.
/r/MensRights12/07/20 06:08 PM
12

It’s what mainstream feminism has become unfortunately.
/r/PussyPassDenied12/07/20 03:39 PM
1

I suppose that’s true. The hate within specific communities on here is difficult to condemn.
/r/MensRights12/07/20 01:17 PM
8

I feel like twitter is much worse
/r/MensRights12/07/20 01:09 PM
4

Just call them a femcel or incel back lol. They quite literally fit the definition of incel most of the time
/r/MensRights12/07/20 12:59 PM
16

Was this on Twitter? Also most of these ppl are probably children and haven’t even lived life yet, they’re going to spout whatever hatred they can as they’ve been taught that men are the oppressors of all beings
/r/MensRights12/07/20 12:58 PM
1

A lot of women are pretty discreetly homophobic and wouldn’t date a bi guy cause they think they’re “dirty” or “effeminate”
/r/MensRights12/07/20 12:55 PM
3

“B.. b... but feminism fights for the equality of both genders! If you believe in equality you’re a feminist by definition! (We will also censor you whenever you talk about problems affecting men, because that would show women aren’t the only victims)”
/r/MensRights11/07/20 06:19 PM
4

“Men’s rights = misogyny”
/r/MensRights11/07/20 06:16 PM
3

They don’t want to have that conversation
/r/MensRights11/07/20 06:15 PM
1

True it means the same thing whether it’s applied to a guy or girl
/r/MensRights11/07/20 05:01 PM
4

Feminist “You’re misogynistic” Me: “how?” Feminist “Not telling you” Apparently just advocating for male rights makes you a misogynist now. What a joke.
/r/MensRights11/07/20 01:10 PM
2

I don’t think “men are trash” is the phrase which we should be focusing on, the “kill all men” narrative is much worse and becoming increasingly normalised.
/r/MensRights11/07/20 11:50 AM
18

This is just another example of women feeling they have authority and ownership over a man’s body and sexuality.
/r/MensRights11/07/20 09:45 AM
2

I think some people really don’t know what rape is, and it shows
/r/PussyPass10/07/20 07:59 PM
2

They’re grasping at straws tbh, they know exactly what she meant
/r/MensRights10/07/20 02:03 PM
5

It discriminates against feminine men and now increasingly, masculine men. Whilst giving girls the freedom to present themselves however they want
/r/MensRights10/07/20 11:22 AM
13

The only people shamed for being feminine are men
/r/MensRights10/07/20 09:54 AM
22

You’re sounding a bit too much like the girl in the tweet lol. Being a healthy weight is pretty much a beauty standard for both men and women. However, societally speaking female beauty standards aren’t as strict as male beauty standards, especially with the “fat acceptance movement”. I think you misunderstand the use of the terms misogyny and patriarchy. And toxic masculinity is as real as toxic femininity (if you even choose to acknowledge that lol)
/r/MensRights09/07/20 11:28 PM
22

This is not an example of enforcing any “patriarchal norms” though. They’re bullying her and telling her to “kill herself” - jumping to the assumption that it has anything to do with misogyny or patriarchy (and subliminally putting the blame on men) is stupid and sexist. You’re doing a bunch of mental gymnastics here.
/r/MensRights09/07/20 11:11 PM
2

Just because they’re bullying this one girl does not mean they’re misogynists. When a man bully’s another man he’s not automatically a misandrist is he?
/r/MensRights09/07/20 10:47 PM
34

Women being shitty human beings literally has nothing to do with the “patriarchy”
/r/MensRights09/07/20 10:42 PM
2

Lmao
/r/MensRights09/07/20 10:21 PM
3

That’s taking into account it’s only a reply to the main tweet. There’s way more lmao
/r/MensRights09/07/20 09:58 PM
12

It has 21,000 likes lmao that’s more than one person. Thats a lot considering it’s only a tweet reply.
/r/MensRights09/07/20 09:02 PM
5

Crazy how she didn’t even condemn their actions. Just “this is men’s fault”
/r/MensRights09/07/20 08:18 PM
33

They’re saying all women have internalised misogyny (they hate women themselves) because the patriarchy has taught them that women are beneath men. Therefore any hatred towards women by a woman is the fault of men and misogyny. I know. It’s stupid as fuck
/r/MensRights09/07/20 08:17 PM
271

Never
/r/MensRights09/07/20 03:23 PM
1

Nowadays ppl may try and cancel you for saying you can be racist towards white people, I just don’t think it’s as easy as you say. There needs to be more collective support for it to work :/
/r/PussyPassDenied09/07/20 01:31 AM
2

I think most people are afraid of calling them out because they may get accused of being sexist or misogynistic - whether they consider themselves a feminist or not.
/r/PussyPassDenied09/07/20 12:31 AM
7

It’s not just POC it’s just as much white people. Most of these radical feminists are non-working-class white women
/r/PussyPassDenied09/07/20 12:29 AM
4

Yep but most feminists will literally say “they aren’t real feminists” or even find a way to excuse their misandry despite hundreds of thousands of feminists agreeing with their views
/r/PussyPassDenied09/07/20 12:23 AM
2

The tweeter at the top literally has tweets saying “how on earth can men experience sexism” she is literally the same as the other girl
/r/PussyPassDenied09/07/20 12:21 AM
1

Um
/r/MensRights08/07/20 11:23 PM
5

It doesn’t matter. There are just as many straight women (and some men) who say things like this and think it’s okay.
/r/PussyPassDenied08/07/20 01:17 PM
2

Something like “this is a specific category of women not the general population”. What even constitutes the “general population” lmao
/r/PussyPass08/07/20 01:13 PM
7

Do you use twitter? There are Millions of people saying the exact same shit as her lol
/r/PussyPassDenied08/07/20 12:14 PM
7

I feel like he asked it in a very blunt way and we shouldn’t give them the benefit of the doubt. Some of them even said “he gettin raped”
/r/MensRights08/07/20 10:05 AM
3

Somehow there is a problem acknowledging the rapey behaviour of women
/r/MensRights08/07/20 10:02 AM
4

Probably. But this definitely highlights how some women are rapists as many deny
/r/MensRights08/07/20 10:00 AM
9

On social media I’ve seen mainly men say that sorta stuff in that way. However, I’ve seen lots of feminists say sexual harassment doesn’t happen to men etc
/r/MensRights08/07/20 01:14 AM
18

Men aren’t ever given the benefit of the doubt, when a specific group of guys say shit like this, it’s labelled as a gendered issue and that men need to be “taught not to rape”.
/r/PussyPass08/07/20 01:03 AM
13

Your opinion is that rape is sometimes okay? That sounds like the opinion of a rape apologist
/r/PussyPass08/07/20 12:45 AM
26

Apparently this mentality only comes from men, that’s what feminists are always saying “the reason men are scared to speak up is cause of toxic masculinity, and other men seeing them as weak or gay”. I guess these women must have “internalised misogyny” that’s the only possible explanation right :/
/r/MensRights07/07/20 11:29 PM
54

Apparnetly only men need to be “taught not to rape”, guess it’s not just men after all.
/r/PussyPass07/07/20 10:40 PM
77

And yet there are still people denying that men can get raped or that it’s possible for them to be victims
/r/PussyPass07/07/20 09:48 PM
44

I’ve only joined this sub recently so there’s probs a shitload of stuff I haven’t seen yet 😂
/r/MensRights07/07/20 06:50 PM
86

Oh has it been posted here before? I saw it on a twitter post the other day and was honestly shocked
/r/MensRights07/07/20 06:44 PM
3

I know It’s such a flawed logic. I’m sure even a frail skinny guy would get blasted for defending himself against a stronger woman
/r/MensRights07/07/20 06:40 PM
1

I agree with your comment but I don’t think men are always stronger and sometimes the differences are insignificant (there are bound to be significant strength differences between two men as well - it’s not always a fair fight). No one should go to jail for self defence
/r/MensRights07/07/20 06:34 PM
415

Crazy how this video has not blown up, if it was men saying this they would have been doxxed, fired from their job and put into jail. This is not acceptable to say regardless of your gender.
/r/MensRights07/07/20 06:09 PM
5

The average man is stronger than the average woman, but there are some strong/big women out there, and much smaller men.
/r/MensRights07/07/20 05:59 PM
9

“Woke Male”
/r/MensRights07/07/20 05:42 PM
8

What
/r/PussyPassDenied07/07/20 03:19 PM
6

Have you got the proper statistic?
/r/MensRights07/07/20 12:22 AM
11

Height shaming up there with penis shaming (only fat shaming or female body shaming is offensive to them)
/r/MensRights04/07/20 11:18 PM
1

The tweet has over 200k likes now, it’s not just a single persons mindset like he’s trying to claim
/r/MensRights04/07/20 01:12 PM
8

Lol. Who said we value her single opinion? The tweet got over 200k likes, despite it being problematic, toxic and degrading - what’s so hurtful in pointing out a double standard?. But sure, were crybabies, smh.
/r/MensRights04/07/20 02:10 AM
1

“It” would be a bunch of links and posts etc etc which will take time to gather, not just one source, your choice 🤷‍♂️
/r/PussyPassDenied04/07/20 12:32 AM
1

Lol dm me and I’ll send you a bunch of examples. The worst part is seeing it more and more everyday, it’s not just an assumption.
/r/PussyPassDenied04/07/20 12:15 AM
1

When I say radicals I’m talking about the majority of the movement (equal rights advocacy is rarely found, just take a look yourself, on reddit too), their beliefs are considered radical to most people however
/r/PussyPassDenied04/07/20 12:06 AM
1

Well it has changed for the majority of “egalitarian type feminists”, and no it hasn’t changed for the radicals which are pretty much against the advocacy of men’s rights. You putting feminism on a pedestal doesn’t change what the movement is
/r/PussyPassDenied03/07/20 11:59 PM
1

It’s actually the advocacy of women’s rights, not equal rights between all genders. The “definition” gets changed all the time anyway though - whether to fit an anti-male narrative or to attack those who disagree with its sometimes toxic beliefs
/r/PussyPassDenied03/07/20 11:53 PM
10

Literally, and then there’s 4’10 women out there tryna call people short, whilst also benefiting from a somewhat “desired” female height
/r/MensRights03/07/20 11:24 PM
9

Exactly. What was the need for her to mention his height and baldness? She made the tweet to express her hatred of men rather than her hatred of racism
/r/MensRights03/07/20 10:51 PM
8

Just makes perfect sense doesn’t it
/r/MensRights03/07/20 10:10 PM
31

We get called misogynists when we do :/
/r/MensRights03/07/20 10:01 PM
26

It seems more than likely that rather than addressing her claims of his racism and acknowledging the subject she saw an opportunity to make fun of “short” men (5’5 isn’t even that short 🤷‍♂️) and androgenic alopecia which men are much more prone to than women. Why do women always insist on taking a jab at unchangeable genetic characteristics of men yet go ballistic if someone makes a comment about a woman? How are people like this considered “progressive” when all they do is continue to push a n…
/r/MensRights03/07/20 09:58 PM
1

Is it the fault of men that the patriarch existed? (Feminists would just blame this on men?)
/r/MensRights04/06/20 06:57 PM
4

But do you not ever worry about losing your job for it or being “cancelled”? What if people were to report you for sexism etc. I’m quite fearful that at some point that would be the case
/r/MensRights30/05/20 12:37 AM
7

Wow, that’s very interesting, boys do tend to be told at a young age to not cry etc or show emotion, this taught by women and men, not just men. Have you ever been told that if you aren’t a feminist that you are sexist and a self-hating misogynist?
/r/MensRights30/05/20 12:34 AM
1

Do you recommend any books or sources for this? I haven’t really heard about that before so that would be quite interesting to look into..
/r/MensRights30/05/20 12:31 AM
1

What about voting rights and stuff like that?
/r/MensRights29/05/20 11:50 PM
2

Care to elaborate? Do you think the same of 1st and 2nd wave or just third wave?
/r/MensRights29/05/20 10:55 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
