Stoicism. It's not what happens to you, it's how you respond to it. Aka "Let go or be dragged." Yes alimony sucks, but it beats being with someone who made you miserable. Edit -- to me, the two most powerful worlds you can utter are "I am .." You are what you continually tell yourself. If you say "I am unhappy that I have to pay alimony. I am angry, I am sad, I am, etc." then that's what you are. Be mindful that you don't let the 'sunglasses of negativity' slip over your eyes, because then every…

"Fail forward fastly." "You either win, or you learn." "Let go or be dragged." For anyone else -- I would highly recommend "The Daily Stoic" podcast and related books. SO good at cultivating this mindset.

"Let go or be dragged" and/or "Hate is like your drinking poison hoping someone else gets sick." There are no failed relationships, just opportunities to improve yourself and/or your selection criteria.

When something shitty happens to you, set a 5 minute timer and go be as butthurt as you need to be. When the timer dings, say out loud "can't change it" and then remind yourself that every negative emotion is created by your resistance to reality. This is Stoicism 101. You are only butthurt because you are losing your frame, because you want things to be different than they actually are. You can't change the past, you can't change her, you can only change you and your future. You should strive t…

This should be PERMANENTLY stickied and/or in the sidebar! Fantastic advice. For meditation I would suggest the (free!!) Insight Timer app with the Mindfulness Daily sessions from Jack Kornfield and Tara Branch. They are quick 10 minute sessions and easy to do. When I just opened the app the quote of the day was "Life is the balance between fear and courage." Take your fears of loneliness, of abandonment, of unworthy -ness and put them aside. "Put down that backback' that you are carrying around…

Straight redpill? No. But MarriedRedPill has been a godsend for me. MRP is all about self-improvement and how to "be the man" that a quality woman wants to be with. And that specifically is not the RP 'just do it to get laid' reason. MRP has its faults, sure what doesn't, but the core is spot-on.

Find a late night talk show host you like and try to analyze WHY you like them. Then do your version of that.

There's a great book called "The Charisma Myth" that I think you (and everyone actually) should read. The myth part is that you can only be born with charisma, and it can't be learned. Well, it can, and this book teaches you simple things to out you in a positive frame of mind, to be confident, to re-write those negative emotions that are dogging you, and more. Here's a summary but you should really read the whole book (which is quick and easy). I think maybe you just need to implement some of t…

That sentence is about all the sympathy you're going to get. One of my favorite quotes is "if you're looking for sympathy, the only place you'll find it here is in the dictionary, between SHIT and SYPHILIS".

Check out photofeeler.com. You can upload your pics and people with rate them on three different characteristics depending on if the pic is for Dating, Personal, or Business (LinkedIn) use. It's "free" if you rate N number of other people's photos which honestly is kind of fun - just be fair/honest.
