5	What I’ve learned from having my first set of plates Yeah.... spinning plates can have a cost. If you are a person that tends towards the ASPD side of the spectrum... you are simply less empathetic... it's less costly for you and can be fun. If you are a highly empathetic person.... a person that genuinely feels joy and pain when those close to us feel these things.... then spinning plates desensitizes you to empathy over time.
