I don't understand this reference. How did they do this?

20000 members. And so few votes that they're not even eligible for public campaign money, let alone a voice in government. And a big reason for that is how fucking insane all of their positions are.

I travel internationally in coach 2 or 3 times a year. My ass is well acquainted with this concept.

i have the universally unlikeable tendency to decide ahead of time whether I'll respect you based on nothing but your gender. How I hear that.

Admittedly I manspread a bit. However, I'm 6'5 and 230 lbs. If i keep my legs confined to a narrow space in front of me I'm actively crushing my genitals. Some women will begrudge me that but they're insensitive jerks.

In this specific case I think it's because one could easily use that as a shield. 15yo: We can't, you'll get in trouble Adult: I'll go buy you a fake ID and just say you tricked me.

let the feminists take control The feminist party in Sweden barely even got enough votes to register, let alone get a single seat in parliament. People are sensitive to PC stuff here and out-of-context comments can destroy you in politics but I personally dealt with WAY more militant feminists in the US than in Sweden. tl;dr: Political correctness is way more rampant in the US as far as I'm concerned.

"Man, I hate long flights, I'm way too tall for the seats." "How dare you say that from your position of tall privilege!"

Ha, they wish they were so accomplished. Not to sound salty, but they're all uneducated pseudo-feminist hippies.

Thanks for wading in! We'd come to the same conclusions, then. There was a whole boatload of other people I knew from the same social circle... basically my extended family at the time... all cheering her on and berating me. I edited it out because it was irrelevant but god damn it stings.

Probably good you stopped, then... I think it only devolves from there.

It's from the case where the woman sued McDonalds over the spilled coffee. Remember that picture anytime someone uses it as anecdotal evidence of extraneous litigation.

I've known good ferret owners and bad ferret owners, just like dog owners. They can be fun little rascals but you can't ignore their nature.

I've seen and read some really horrible things on the internet, but the image of a baby crying and trying to escape a tenacious rodent... left alone, defenseless... This is the worst feeling I've ever had from just reading about it. And she goes FREE!?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
