I hate answers like this. There is no right answer but to escalate. Answers like this generates long-term hesitation since the probability to think of a smart action like this might be low. The important part is to just do something, and there is no wrong way to go if you mean it. That said, I really like your idea!

I used to talk to girls that I thought was below my league. That went very well. Then I raised the bar and talked to girls that were a little more attractive. Everytime convincing myself that I've managed to approach more attractive girls than the present one. After some approaches my thoughts that I originally considered pep talk went true. This weekend I approached a super hot girl and after that nothing will stop me from approaching. And if I would get rejected, I can accept that since I can'…

Yeah! Your recipe for success is: Accept yourself and do fun stuff that you enjoy doing, for your own sake. Use this more fun lifestyle to attract male friends with similar interests. (By looking at your post history it might be books, self improvement or kerbal space program) Have fun and go to places where you enjoy yourself, don't go to clubs if you don't genuinely like staying there. I'm not talking about teasing. When I tease it is somewhat goofy or stupid. She will know that I am not that of an asshole pointing out something that ridiculous. If I told her my name, the right thing of her would be to remember it and both of us knows this. It is too serious to joke or tease about things like this in my opinion.

I go by a rule that I never point out on her doing something she knows is stupid. If she doesn't remember my name, almost nothing good can come out from me throwing it in her face and making a thing out of it. Even though I think that I'm saying it in a polite way, she would most likely feel bad anyway. I don't want women to feel bad when I am around.

Yes that would be a good thing to do. Have you got some interesting ideas on how to deliver your name?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
