Shit. Me too bro. Way too soon. Had no intention of getting into something, but did. She was awesome and I felt a real connection, but me being mid-divorce and only 1 month after STBX moved out, and her being like 9 years post-divorce... we are at such different stages of the game. We stopped the sexy-times, but she has become like my Mr. Miyagi of divorce wisdom. I hope she is still single when I am ready to join her on the other side.

I thought so too. I went onto the dating apps for the first time now for that reason. "Hey, it's the pandemic, we are all social distancing, stay at home blah blah blah." I thought it would allow me to slow play new relationships and keep it all text/Zoom based convos. But the ladies are out there man, and they want to meet up and break all the rules. I did not expect that.

Prenuptial agreements should be acceptable or promoted to young men. If I had gotten one, I wouldn't even care about losing my STBXW at this point. It's all the other little details that complicate it all. I want my house and my pension, why does she get a say in that.

My no. 1 goal is securing the maximum time possible with my kids. A distant #2 is retaining my pension. I think I could argue the kids are better off with me financially and in terms of wife's history of mental health problems. My #1 fear is that my wife would simply lie in court and I would lose everything.

Stay strong brother. Serious question though, everyone always says to "document everything". But what does that mean? Do you just write down a factual summary of the day/week/month? Is that effective in court? Would something like that not just be "he said/she said"? How do the courts take it all in to account?

I hear you on the being lost in a mountain range. I have 3 kids and am just beginning the process. But if it weren't for them, I would be out there too.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
