It's the passion they're attracted to. Most women never meet anyone with a passion outside of women, video games, beer and sports. Especially when it's your profession and you appear intelligent about it. It also shows confidence that you're not ashamed of what you do and don't care about showing your passion for it. I'm going to school for EE, a topic not too many women are usually interested in. I talk about it all the time and they hang on my every word.

I think if you're guy #2 you're not in seduction :p

As an intelligent HR rep, I have to agree with many of the posters. Don't get cocky! Be polite and assertive in your skills. But most of all just SHOW CONFIDENCE AND A POSITIVE ATTITUDE!

I only say that because although I'm not what you'd consider a "social butterfly," I have an unusual amount of great and close friends and entertain and see them quite frequently. You are correct, it's exhausting, but in the good way like you just accomplished something. I enjoy going out and being social more so than being at home, gaming, etc. (well fishing would be an exception) But anyway, it takes a lot of energy and if it's not something you're willing to deal with, then like I sad you'll …

I can tell being social probably wasn't something you were used to before you were introduced to the seduction scene. If socializing and building/maintaining relationships is a chore, you may need to reassess.

Man, I joined this forum to see of anyone was as jaded as me with "the scene." Honestly, I was out of the scene before I was even in it. Someone gave me a copy of The Game and it got me going. Read more material, watched his videos, talked with friends, etc. We went out a few times, did some material, got positive feedback. But as the OP said it completely ruined my personal dating scene as well as my evenings in general. Before hearing any of this I loved approaching women. I was scared, excite…

I guess my "be yourself" point means that you shouldn't hide or fake who you are. It's fine to deviate from the norm from time to time, in fact it's probably necessary, but so with caution. Most girls I've "picked up" have been done so under such false pretense that I was constantly acting or putting on a show every time I was around them. Of course, if "being yourself" is the advise everyone keeps saying, they might just be onto something...hehe

If you were baking cakes and they consistently turned out bad, would you continue to bake them the same way thinking it would eventually turn out right at some point? Be yourself but practice some common sense too. Also, if being yourself doesn't attract women, would being someone you're not be any better? About 7 years ago a buddy loaned me his copy of "The Game." I was extremely excited about it! To be honest, I had very little trouble picking up women, in fact I was probably in the top 5% of …

These may be blunt and a little over simplified 1. I've met a girl and she doesn't like me, how can I get her to like me? You don't, move on. Although it's possible, as the poster said, there's more than enough other women who will. Oneitus is the #1 killer of all men! 2. I've met a girl and she seems to like me, how can I avoid screwing it up? Doesn't matter, be yourself. If she doesn't like you, see #1. If you think you've fucked up, big deal, you've learned a life lesson, learn from it and mo…

I can completely understand this. I'm sure I was this way at one time too. I think what everyone should take away from this though is to simply acknowledge and thank the person regardless if you believe it or not. It makes them feel better and eventually might make you feel better too.

I'm not sure who influenced you growing up, but there's a big difference between accepting a compliment and being cocky. Being cocky isn't even a bad thing if you're not an ass about it. Really, if you're someone who thinks saying thank you is a cocky response then you need to figure some things out...

At the very least, and even if you don't believe it, SAY THANK YOU for shit sake! The person went though the trouble of even offering you a compliment, at least thank them for it. There's nothing more like a slap in the face when I compliment someone and they deny it, don't believe it, or just refuse it. Honestly, 2-3 times and I just quit compliment thing them.
