That officer was so polite. "I moved a chair so she could sit, sorry about that, let me move that back, happy Thanksgiving."

30 minutes from now when she gets home and can't find her kid's shoe and the guy was trying to point it out or return it to her, she will then realize, maybe I'm a cunt.

This was fun, another millennial being told they can't have their way for the first time and they melt down. No safe spaces in the real world.

That's my point. There is a gender advantage for most people in most things.

Well there is a reason all these transgender in sports rules are there to protect women's sports, but you don't see men complaining about needing protection from transgenders competing with them.

I hate flying SW precisely because I can't pick a seat and the drama like this that it brings. I don't like being asked 20 times during boarding "could you move?" Why yes I will move, I didn't pay the extra fee to board early and pick this seat because I hate this seat and didn't want to sit here, I much prefer to wander the plane when they are boarding "ZZZ" or whatever their last group is. I haven't flown them for probably 8 years or more at this point. The loading works like a cross between p…

Me too, I hate when they dink around with someone and cause a late departure.

I fly a lot and AA is my preferred carrier. They are not playing. In all my years I have not seen passengers get kicked off flights so fast as this spring and summer. Heck, I've seen passengers been told they can't board (not personally it was video where she was asked to mask and she layed into the agent and they bounced her). I was on a flight 2 weeks ago and the guy took his mask down for a second (I don't know why) and the attendant walked by and asked him to please pull it all the way up an…

Yeah in a principal's office this is a crime against humanity by the boy. In an actual court of law this would be self defense. He didn't even beat her, he got control of her and restrained her until she relaxed.

I've always said that when you apply to College/University they should be blind applications. As soon as they arrive they software would remove the name and attach a number. I was told this increased populations of certain groups and almost eliminated other groups all together. But, in a seriousness, I still don't understand why they don't. Shouldn't higher education be based on merit, achievement, and grades, not what group you fall into. If everyone wants to move forward with we are all equal …

I vaguely remember the video from this last summer, had he not made a stink I am fairly certain I wouldn't have cared. Now, I'm like "internet do your thing!"

He grew up black in the 30s and 40s, to say he didn't get any kind of an education from that is crazy. He was in the Navy, and you meet all kinds of people and problems there, got a bachelor's degree from Temple and a PHD in education from UMass, he then became very wealthy in showbiz. To say that he hadn't learned a few things on that ride is an ignorant statement.

He literally had to defend his remarks in 2004 when he said African American families needed to take responsibility for their actions. https://www.nytimes.com/2004/05/22/arts/cosby-defends-his-remarks-about-poor-blacks-values.html

They have always been after Bill Cosby since he has always said to cut their $hit and act like grown-ups. He always pushed education and family and this tends to go against their culture of being eternal victims.

Cold weather does not make you sick. Germs, bad health, bad hygiene, or just being unlucky enough to be around a sick person who practices these things. I repeat, cold weather harbors no germs just cold temperatures.

I had a boss once who said employee handbook are not to inform employees but to fire them. Same principle.

I hate people like that. If they say there ought to be a law there probably shouldn't.

That's my pint, there is a law. If you pay different genders different rates, all else being equal you can face serious consequences in the US.

Yup in the US the Equal Pay Act was signed in 1963 by JFK.

Our county has an inmates on the web interface and you can see who was arrested and the charge. I was amazed by all the women there for domestic abuse. It's almost like men figured out they can't touch a woman but women think they are protected from arrest in a domestic.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
