They aren't saying women are worthless. They're saying women aren't builders. And that's an undeniable fact. Men massively dominate the hard sciences, engineering, and construction, and it isn't because men try so hard to exclude women from it. Women just aren't interested in getting their hands dirty and we can't force them to take an interest in doing so. Why would women gauge their worth from a job role they have no interest in? The point in pointing out that men are builders isn't to denigra…

Only if you think cannon fodder can possibly be privileged. They're antithetical concepts.

Uh, it's your 'logic'. You say we're privileged, and cannon fodder. Which is it?

Being cannon fodder is a privilege?

You, yourselves, say it, we're 'privileged'. And we should uh, check it, or whatever.

So men are getting the preferential treatment, by being cannon fodder? I see. Do you want a shovel to help you dig your way out of that logic hole you keep deepening?

Oh, so sexism is exclusively prejudice against women, now, is it? (and dictionaries are authored to fit 'common usage', btw) I'm not upset at all, let alone about wireframes being hurt, I'm pointing out your own sexist bigotry by whining about 'poor women' while ignoring the slaughter of 'men'. But clearly objective perspectives are beyond you.

No, I didn't. Sexism broadly means a belief of superiority and preferential treatment for one sex over the other. Do you seriously think being murdered is preferential treatment? And yes, it's just a game. No human-form wire meshes were actually harmed in the production of this video game, honest. Get a sense of perspective, will you? Failing that, go arrange a good old fashioned book burning. There's a mountain of 'misogynistic' literature you need to get through, first.

If you're after a polite driving game with an equal number of female drivers treated fairly then you're picking up the wrong game entirely. It's Grand Theft Auto, if it didn't involve stealing cars, pimp slapping hookers, mugging and murdering people, it wouldn't be Grand Theft Auto. And finally, it's a GAME, not irl. Get a grip for fuck sake.

How many femicides are part of the game's progression narrative?

Simply being employed by Gamespot immediately eliminates any and all credibility you could have had. Same with IGN.

If I'm not an object then how do I exist? :(

How do you go from pointing out the ridiculousness of claiming misogyny when it's men who're being murdered in the game, to zomgnotenoughasskickingwomen? I'd really love to know the mental gymnastics required for that. It's almost as ridiculous as the original claim.

Pfft, what's murdering a load of guys compared to objectifying and mocking women?
/r/MensRights22/09/13 02:33 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
