I have the same damn problem with my posts not being visible and keep messaging the mods and most of the time I don't get a reply. I think it is due to some filters or something u/SkeptiCynical u/MNCPA u/Dizzy-Ad512

she said she’s not in love with me but our friendship is getting better That's just bs, bro. are you blind or what? Move on, the man, before you learn your lesson the hard way. She had something going on and you're the spare tire. trust me, it will happen again. screw her.

If there is a TRO, I doubt they are living together anymore.

So I agree with this as a whole, especially for spiteful things. OTOH, I am familiar with a case, where the mother is an alcoholic. The CPS ended up writing an endorsement for the father, and supporting him in court. That case is interesting. I think you need to have connections

Be careful lawyers in LA, they all know each other and they collude a lot. They'll make deals with each other and the judge. I think this is what my lawyer is trying to do. Not sure if that's good or not. I don't expect my lawyer to do something against my best interest but that's a good point. ost a house on the last one. How? assets are divided 50/50

Unfortunately dead serious. It limits some jobs. I was doing handyman work for ladies shelters for 20 years in several surrounding counties. (My day job put me in a position they asked for help). They could no longer allow me on the property. Damn man. Weren't you successful removing them?

I think only permanent TRO stays in records, no? can anyone confirm?

TRO’s will always show on your criminal record. Are you serious? I didn't know that. I hope my lawyer can expunge that

Thank you. I am not doing it. I was just curious why she won't let me contact her even though the TRO says I can. But I am sure there is a reason.

Do you have a lawyer? Usually there is a court date to see if the order is valid. In my experience that happened within a week of it being issued. Until then I don’t think there is anything you can do. And in the room, I don’t think I could have represented myself. Things happened so fast and so formally. I have a lawyer, and it has been three weeks, and my lawyer is thinking of pushing it to a different date to get things ready.

Hopefully you’re smart enough to have an attorney! You should ask your attorney for advice instead of random people who aren’t lawyers on Reddit. I do man. I just hadn't had a chance to discuss that with her yet.

A police report isn’t enough but it’s better than nothing. Did you file the police report right away? yes and the police came to the scene and police report says she did not have injuries as she claimed and I did have marks on my chest indicating I was hit. Yes, and the police came to the scene, and the police report says she did not have injuries as she claimed and I did have marks on my chest indicating I was hit.s hit.t.hit. oh, man. I hope things get better for you soon. did she file a TRO too?

Well the fact you didn’t pursue criminal charges means if you bring these allegations up in your TRO case now then judge is unlikely to believe you…..which makes sense because if you were not afraid for your safety back when it actually happened (you never called the police) why would you be so concerned now to bring it up in a TRO case. They are not allegations. I have proof and a police report Depending on what she’s saying it very well might be enough to get a permanent TRO on you. Just for…

I’ll say everything leveled at me eventually got dismissed. What arguments were used to get them dismissed? Is there any hope she cover my legal fees for false allegation?

You can get a program that rips all the texts from the phone. You don’t need to subpeona them that’s ridiculous. But you can. So they can subpoena texts? I am confused some say they can't In my case over a year later I got the TRO dropped, 50/50 parenting time, I lost a ton financially and never got back into the house. Focus on what matters. Seek therapy. How did your lawyer manage that? What are the arguments he/she used? Long story short: most likely it will be dropped. However she is goi…

Do not let that bitch win by seeing you like a loser. This will never happen. I never felt more determined to be myself and unleash my full potential, I sometimes brake because I am not seeing my kids but beyond that. I think I am in a good place mentally. Is there any chance I could charge her and put her in jail if I have concrete evidence of her assault a year ago, or it's not going to stick either?

I hope so man, I have proof that she was the aggressor. I wanted to pursue charges, but my lawyer is saying to hold off, I want to press charges not sure if it is better to do it through the police or

know it's hard and will dent your wallet but if your lawyer isn't representing you like you want, it's time to find a new one. It will cost you more if you don't. We did not go to any hearing, I am waiting to see her in a hearing first. Then will decide. I might need to change lawyer.
