Welcome to life, I hear that. No, I definitely don't think it's simply a woman thing, I am well aware men and women do stupid shit alike. But I don't have a terrible issue with men doing goofy shit because I'm not resting my emotions in their hands like I would in a relationship with a woman. That may be why it seems I only view women this way. I don't, I just don't care what other guys do. I want to trust women because I want them in my life, romantically. I find comfort in love and in relation…

I can imagine all of that but then what the hell do I do with that imagination? I hear all the time, love yourself and envision who you want to be and positive thinking and all of that stuff but it has never clicked with me. I've never bought into it even though I'd like to. I can see what you're saying, how I see myself in relation to other men being a problem. But even with that understanding, I don't know where to go. Therapy is the usual consensus and I am working on that as we speak actuall…

That's exactly what I want, I want to feel secure and able to express myself. I'm an emotional person and I've lost a girlfriend or two because of it. Insecurities, overthinking and what have you. So I've trained myself to shut the hell up and then I stumbled upon TRP and it just solidified my reasoning to be a robot. So on top of my natural reaction to not being so emotional, I had come across more reasoning to do so. Shitty combo. I'm forcing myself to be a literal opposite of my usual self. I…

I definitely have trust issues. In any event, I mean, no, she's not given me any reason to distrust her. However, because I tend to be untrusting, I find fault in a lot of things she does and all I'm going to do is drive her away with my insecurities. I'll take any action she makes involving other guys as some sort of repressed desire to be with them. She talks about guys she's spoken to during her work day and from time to time she'll mention she likes this guys tattoo or this guys piercing, et…

I agree. I have been tossing around the idea of leaving her be and working on myself. That's not the entirety of the issue though. She and I have only been dating a couple months. I enjoy her company but I would not be terribly upset without her and I don't want people thinking I'm here looking for relationship advice even though I sort of am. My main issue is that I don't trust any women now. Not just her. This will affect my current relationship as well as possible future ones tremendously. I …

I agree, it's ridiculous. But it's all reaction for me at this point. Even if I sit down and talk myself out of acting this way, once I forget about it, it comes back and I knee jerk into the thinking that TRP teaches. I feel I should trust her because it's fair to trust someone until given reason not to. I can maintain that frame of mind while thinking about it, sure, but again, as soon as I'm caught off guard and brought back to thinking about it, TRP floods my thoughts and I feel like I'm in …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
