My wife couldn't hold down a job for shit. Best jobs she was qualified for she got into labor disputes about the smallest things. My divorce isn't finalized but the result is that I am going to pay out the ass so that lazy ******* can keep her 'quality of life'. I'm in my 50's and I basically put my retirement mostly into the real estate we owned. Now she feels most of that money is owed to her because she inherited our first home from her father, even though it put us $290k in debt. She blew an…

If I'm being honest I think we both are narcissists but in different ways.

Just be aware prenups are not iron clad, and might wind up costing money for lawyers to defend it.

Good advice! I should have posted prior to it.

Yes we do. The dates for mediation, pre-trial, and trial were thankfully set at the same time.

She was working at a strip club and dabbling with crack cocaine. In case you're wondering, no I did not meet her at the strip club and no, I have never had anything to do with crack. I pulled her out of that shit, to my demise.

I'm using the exercise route. It's working for me, but I'm doing something five-six days a week, alternating between the gym and long bike rides.

Add bicycling to your routine. Bonus if you have access to trails that get you close to nature. Helps maintain weight and your mental health.

Contempt bros unite! I have a contempt hearing myself today. Best of luck with yours, but IMHO your ex doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Yeah, I've been very conscious of this, haven't blown up his phone or bitched about it via text. We had informal plans for him to help me with something on Tuesday. I probably wouldn't have noticed anything if it weren't for that.

My wife served me papers by walking in with the process server after she had moved out for about six weeks. I don’t think there’s anything your wife can do about it, but I’m not a lawyer.

1) Stop thinking about having her back. You are better than that. You deserve better than that, regardless of how she makes you feel. 2) Focus on yourself. Your happiness can't rely on what she does or doesn't do, that's bound to let you down. 3) Sounds like you two are amicable at the moment. Be prepared for that to stop suddenly. Not that it will, but it often does.

Oh, mine is similar but actually kinda worse: shit started when my STBX started antidepressants on recommendation from a “Life Coach” who turned her on to an online pharmacy that (in my unqualified opinion) really didn’t monitor her enough at the start. She was suppose to start therapy about a week after she sneered in my face that she doesn’t love me. It was a bizarre transition between her start and our end. This dumbass life coach is an old high school friend of hers who used to be a professi…

It'll ebb and flow. You can't help that. You may feel past everything and then one day you see a crack in the sidewalk and it all floods back. And that's fine, and you'll be fine. To me it's a lot like a physical injury; time deadens the pain and over time it'll mostly heal but probably never be exactly the same. There are things you learn to live with, or without. I guess that's achieving maturity more than happiness but it's the same when you experience any great loss in your life. In the mean…

My STBX is a hoarder. She moved out Friday and I've spend the weekend moving the piles and stacks of near-worthless crap to rooms I can live without, then dusted, swept and mopped these areas for the first time in years. It's been so good for my mental health. So, thanks for checking, but no way am I missing that insane woman today!

We're not there yet. I expect the accusation to be a part of a court order to remove me from the home because two days ago she storms into my office with her phone camera rolling say "Stay out of email! Stop cyberstalking me!" It's like she's flashing me and saying "don't look at my tits!"

The formula is losing weight. Just do that and you dick will look noticeably bigger.

Only thing on my bingo card you’re missing is accusations of cyberstalking because she left her gmail open a browser window?
