Good job with the sarcasm, it's pretty funny. Better than my attempt. But you obviously haven't actually read beyond the title, so it's rolling off.

She's a pretty smiley chick, real friendly, and she's good with our kid. Definitely more patient than I am. And she dresses normally as far as I can tell. Though for me normal women's clothes means anything that isn't blatantly hookerwear, swimwear, or halloween costume. So who the fuck knows. Maybe she's got the world running scared.

I'm glad you took the time to tell me that you're glad I registered a new account just to post this.

Right on for most of your points, you could well be right. Thanks for actually making an effort to understand what I’ve said and respond intelligently. Your last point, though, if it’s in reference to my ex getting shit at the grocery store with her WIC Vouchers, those were direct, specific comments that got her upset, and not dirty looks. She’s gotten quite a few direct comments and insults over the years from total strangers for daring to be a mother with tattoos and no wedding ring. I’ve neve…

"After all, a bunch of unverifiable anecdotes can't really prove anything, but the fact that men are forced to leave daycare rooms when the children are being changed, and in some airlines unaccompanied minors aren't allowed to be seated next to men, and that there are factual news stories of the police being called on innocent men, are facts. I believe that accompanying that many people disapprove of men that want to work or spend time with children - that it's seen as creepy." This is disgusti…

What, do you want my address? You want me to put my picture up? I've given away enough information for you to find me if you're that interested. Come on by. We'll have a talk. I've lurked here for ages. I got tired of seeing these posts go unchallenged. I can't work today because I have the flu so I had some extra time and I decided to say something about it.

I DID NOT SAY THIS NEVER HAPPENS. I DID NOT SAY THAT NO ONE EVER FEELS THAT THIS IS HAPPENING TO THEM. I did say that MY experience and MY observations and MY understanding of how the world works indicate that it is vastly overreported on the men's rights subreddit. Do you disagree? Why? Not one person has answered that question.

Feminism destroyed itself partly by claiming persecution that didn't exist. I'd hate to see the movement for men's rights to jump off the same cliff, but by all means you help it head in that direction if you want to. Just noticed your little bannination. If you think I am such a troll, why are you engaging with me?

I think if you read what I wrote, including the comments, you would see that I address the fact that I was a lurker until recently, and that I have thought seriously about this and have reached my conclusions honestly. Not a troll. But perhaps I could have worded my post title differently in order to invite discussion, it's a bit inflammatory I admit.

Yes, PART of what I said is that when men are fulfilling their reproductive responsibilities by parenting their children, they are treated as saints. In fact, in popular culture, one of the highest compliments that can be paid to a man is that he takes responsibility for his kids. This is extremely insulting to men, and unfair to women. Both genders should be expected to adequately fulfil their reproductive responsibilities, and neither should expect praise for doing so or have to deal with judg…

Oh, for fuck's sake, I know it's long but how about you read what I wrote? It's all there.

I have a pretty big, close group of friends living all over the country, a few abroad, and we talk regularly by text, phone, email, facebook, skype, and meet up when we can. I used to be in a touring band and I've met a lot of people through my work as a tattoo artist and shop owner. This is pretty normal these days I think.

That's NOT the point, or at least not the point I was making. The point I was making is that this doesn't happen as often as reddit would have you believe, in fact it hardly every happens, and that a large proportion of people who write about it here are either making it up for attention or seeing it where it doesn't exist. That's not good for men. There's plenty to complain about and plenty of things to work towards changing without making up stories to feed some persecution complex or get atte…

I said "all over the place" and not just "all over my town". Do you have any actual arguments against the points I've made? Because I'd like to hear 'em. I've never seen any evidence of this in real life. I've never heard of any evidence of this from anyone I know, and I have a pretty wide network of friends through my work all over the country who I talk to about our lives regularly. If you think that bearded, tattooed men wouldn't be the FIRST to experience this kind of treatment if it actuall…

Sure. I have buddies all over the place. We all tend to look like bikers. Most of us have kids by now. I've never heard of any of 'em having this problem. Took my kid up to Seattle for a few weeks last year to visit my brother, took her to the park while he was at work and all over. Nothin' but smiles.
