He loves animals too, that’s a passion he encourages me to pursue

Baby won’t be here for 2 years, by then we will only have 1 dog (2 are hospice). And no kittens (they’re bottle baby fosters). Until I have children, caring for animals is the only thing I do for myself. Once I’m on my way to pregnancy I won’t be fostering animals anymore, because o agree it would be too much It’s a bit hard to explain, but my fiancé has tons of hobbies and I really only have 1. He encourages me to care for animals because I tend to be in a better mood and way less sad about the…

Well, fostering is the only thing I do for myself so it’s very important to me. Earlier in the year we had 5 dogs, a cat, and 5 small animals. Currently we have 3 dogs (our permanent dogs) and 3 kittens, so this is actually a slow period! To your other point, my body is very healthy for IVF. It’s really just my home that’s slacking. Do you have any advice for how to start getting back into a good rhythm with my cleaning routine?

OP left out some huge context. This is an arranged marriage. Definitely 100% reach out to him, ASAP. You are about to be marrying someone you’ve spent 2 months with, you need to set your boundaries and expectations RIGHT NOW. You expect him to not ignore you for several days. Tell him that (in a polite but firm way).

His sexual preference will be the same on the first date or the 1000th. Just ask. Not to be explicit, but if you’re asking to be pegging him or other things that are more intense, he’s either going to be into it or he’s not. It’s best to not waste your or his time

My opinion is that banning 2 out of his 3 choices will do more harm than good. It seems like he’s struggling with feeling confident in his ability to plan date nights, and getting 2/3 rejected won’t feel very good.

If I were you, I would make a list! Have a list of places/activities you love, a list of ones you like, and a list of things you will enjoy doing if that’s what he wants to do—since it’s not always about what you want! That way when you ask him to plan something, there’s an easy list of things for him to pick from and take the lead, with the security of knowing it’s something you like. It sounds like there have been times when he has picked things and you didn’t like them, so that’s clearly stuc…

He doesn’t sound like the man you want to marry. He shouldn’t find your laugh annoying, and he shouldn’t ask his sister her opinion and then get mad when you ask your brother his opinion. In my opinion, it will be really hard to let a man like this lead you through life. If you can’t trust him to also have your best interest at heart you and take care of you, you won’t be able to let him be a leader.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
