I've followed David Icke some. I'd definitely describe him as hit or miss, but a lot of his lectures are undeniably deep; the most recent lecture I watched was definitely a little more refined and focused on the important stuff. He strikes me as a man who has trouble accepting that certain unknowable factors will inevitably, at least while present circumstances persist, remain unknown. A lizard face is definitely less frightening than a big question mark. My VPN shit the bed, so it looks like I'…

Don't be condescending; I use the word Karma because it is a word that effectively describes an apparent function of the universe, not because I necessarily believe in it's full eastern meaning and implications. The truth of why I warned so heavily against the dark stuff is that I'd hate to think that I told someone who doesn't even believe water currents exist to jump into a rip-tide to find out. try this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ac08kMK-dyI edit: do that every morning, and evening if y…

I've been looking over that site; it's interesting. A lot of it is actually in line with my current understandings of how reality and life seem to work, though I hadn't realized said understandings were shared by so many other people. Is a lot of the redpill into this?

Yeah, same for me; fundamentalist Christian until high school, then wishy washy Christian/believer in Gnostic-ish values until college, then Atheism/Nihilism (not because I really believed those things per se, but because I lacked concrete proof of anything else) for almost a decade until last year. That was a trip; if you ever get nudged awake by the universe, I hope it's a little less ego shattering for you than it was for me haha. anyway, here's the short and skinny of it. The easiest stuff t…

First thing first, there are no "hardcore" atheists, because nobody is willing to fight and die for a belief in something's non-existence. Secondly, I always was deeply concerned with morality for the entire time I was an atheist and a nihilist. I just felt that my moral judgments were purely arbitrary, and amounted to little more than pebbles defiantly thrown at an uncaring ocean. In response to the thought experiment idea; that was my reality for a very long time. I only stopped being an athei…

I appreciate it; I'm tempted to say something unkind about him, but in all honesty I was probably more close minded and pedantic back in the day. What's this Trivium Method? I minored in philosophy, but I took the classes more out friendship with the professor than any talent in the subject.

I used to see the universe the way you do; an Atheistic sort of nihilism is the only way to approach reality when all you've been shown is a series of cold, hard, seemingly unrelated numbers and facts stretching out towards eternity. I kind of hope the universe taps you on the shoulder some day; if it ever does, try to remember what probably now seems like a relatively meaningless reddit exchange. Just remember that there's more to this world than meets the eye, and that Tolkein had it right whe…

Not to make generalizations, but Adobe is still technically kind of a mud hut.

That's likely true about a lot of these guys not having very functional interactions with women. Though, and I say this as a guy for whom intellectual and moral restraint are a virtue, the men a large percentage of women REALLY love most and are willing to give the most to while requiring the least commitment, are guys that treat them like walking jizz receptacles. I'm not saying those "Alpha" guys always openly portray themselves to behave that way, or even necessarily recognize themselves to b…

Right? For being a group made up mainly of dudes who spent a large portion of their lives being victimized by the manipulated laws of the modern socio-sexual marketplace, most of us seem awful carefree about creating victims.

I know, right? I was reading that and just thinking "I'd probably invite that guy to a party. He doesn't give a fuck."

I think this subreddit is mostly for people who only got a grazing shot of the brainwashing. edit: or those who got slapped in the face by reality hard enough to wake up

I actually laughed out loud. That is one thing old school organized religion is still good for; when it comes to social values they DON'T GIVE A FUCK what the SJW message of the week is.

Did they write those comics specifically for the new films?

That scene is probably why they had to make her this high powered corporate figure/femme fatal with Tony's heart in a vice grip all at the same time in the following films. It was too much truth for Hollywood to stomach.

Yeah, I started liking Stark's character a lot less after he got his balls clipped by that blond bitch. Really? He made the secretary his own boss and CEO?

I have a little bit of judgment... you can't be a home destroying philanderer AND a sincere well wisher. Also, first LOL of the day.
