I second that whether you’ve female friends is not a good measure of self-respect. I’m a girl and I’ve been attracted to guys who’ve come on to me and “put them in the friend zone” for situational reasons. Maybe I was busy or getting out of a relationship - nothing personal, especially when I don’t know the person in question far enough past a superficial level in order to identify anything troublesome re: their actual character.
