She is totally abandoning him, she says in the article that she hasn’t brought it up to him yet. I think he must still have some of cognition for her to say that. You’re right I haven’t taken care of somebody with dementia, I helped care for my mother in her lasts months with ALS..

My rule of thumb, if a woman hits me like a woman (ie slap, open hand, nothing to the face, weak punch) I won't hit back but if she hits me like a man (ie closed fist, strong, to the face, she took boxing) she gets hit back. I would never hit first and I have never had to use this rule.

I have done more research and found the defense did indeed call Dixon to the stand in the trial and he admitted to being there, so I stand corrected by The Guardian on those facts. He said he yelled “Get the [expletive] out of here” at the car while wearing his gun slung over his shoulder. He testified that he could not see the driver because the car had tinted windows. First off, making a blanket statement about the left does your debate no favors. I could do the same thing with the right but I know the right isn't full of racist, white trash, inbred, uneducated people. It seems that left extremists are elevated by right-wing to represent a larger group of people, you will find many on the left that will distance themselves from groups like Antifa. Second, it wasn't at the charity baseball game, it was at the practice the day before. A significant portion of t…

This is painfully true. I got so much hate when discussing white woman privilege in a thread on FB. I was swarmed and they just start throwing "sexual harassment" and "rape" as reasons why they are marginalized. I asked one of the commenters if they were commenting from a Starbucks parking lot in her SUV while donning her yoga pants during regular working hours. The silence was deafening.
/r/MensRights25/07/18 02:18 PM

I know you are not exaggerating, that still happens all over the world. People forget marriage started off as more of a property/business deal than a love affair.
/r/MensRights17/07/18 06:55 PM
6

It is in the wording, to come right out and say a dad owns his daughters body and sexuality of course is crazy, but dad's do have a responsibility, as a parent, in shaping their child's life. A girl's life includes their body and their sexuality, to say that a parent doesn't play a part in shaping this is naive. Parents control lives and can choose that their child only gets home schooled, wears a burka, attends a girls only school, etc. this is a form of ownership.
/r/MensRights16/07/18 06:39 PM

I agree with your likening it to guiding; someone must lay the foundation for them to be strong independent women or someone else is going to guide themselves into her life and start making the rules.
/r/MensRights16/07/18 04:02 PM

To each their own, if the daughters wanted to do this I don't see a problem. There are evangelical people out there that take this seriously. As far as "fathers owning their daughters bodies or sexuality" it is a slippery slope to defend or argue against.

That job is called being a stay at home wife. If they want to feel like they contribute to the household they find work as a residential real estate agent or home based marketing/sales rep (Avon, Tupperware, Amway, etc.). This allows for socialization with the guise of working.

I made a similar comment on FB and the hate flowed, then I asked them if they were commenting from their SUV parked in a Starbucks parking lot, enjoying the comfort of their yoga pants and UGG boots on a workday. The silence was deafening.

The comment was aimed towards Beyonce and the other "strong women" that rattle on about feminism until it comes time to make a buck then it is scantily clad attire for mass consumption and profit, then back to the pulpit of feminism. That was so on point. They all want their naughty bits ignored until it comes time to make them some money. I was involved in another conversating about female artists and about them being misrepresented. Portman and Streisand both went on about needing more female directors to win and blaming the establishment. The Golden Globes are awards designated by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, do you know how many people belong to this group? 90, that's it, 90; do you know how many of them are women? 41, as of 2015, 41 out of 90 members are women and it might be more because I couldn't determine definitely by name who was male or female (foreign names are tough). The president of the association…

Brother is that you? Seriously, your brother is getting a raw deal, those women suck. You know they are thinking that one day he will rage and ravish one of them, which is probably not even in his wheelhouse of capabilities. Women can be very cruel. My dad worked with a man that adopted his wife's child from a previous relationship, raised her as his own, pretty stand up. The daughter grew up and out of wedlock gave birth to twins, she eventually couldn't care for them; her mother and adoptive father said they would take the twins and raise them. The couple ended up getting divorced, guess who is paying child support on twins? He had to put off retiring because he couldn't afford it.

I realized today that everything I do, say, ask, etc. is either questioned or ignored. I ask the wife to shut the car off while I get her mother's groceries out of the trunk when we drop her mom off. We are parked in front of her mom's house and just unloading and leaving. She not only ignores me but gets mad at me when I walk around and shut the car off myself. Now I get to enjoy the silent treatment, her banging every door close, and fer rudeness. Marriage, who thought this was a good idea?

Now if I would have been able to consent I would have said yes, but the option was out of my hands. Does this constitute rape? What if I would have gotten her pregnant, what kind of ramifications then?
/r/MensRights03/05/17 06:22 PM

We have similar experiences. I came to once and a woman was going down on me, blacked out, came to, eating her pussy, blacked out, came to, fucking her doggy, blacked out, came to, throwing up. I think most guys are "WTF? Oh well I'm fucking, might as well get my nut." If roles were reversed I'm sure there would be a lot of crying, screaming, police, jail time, and forced sodomy.

Shit, common sense. You're all right in my book. Sexual contact with children is wrong, we all agree on that. Having to register for up to life, in some states, is a violation of a person's rights. When sex offender is used people always jump to kiddie toucher, fact is if you get caught urinating in public you could end up on the list. Gay men arrested in the 70s and 80s for lewd acts, sex with a consenting partner, also have had to register. The laws in some states make it so you can't be withi…

Is there a term for being raped then going along with it? Let's say I know a guy, he blacks out after a night of drinking/smoking and comes to with a girl sucking him off. He was blacked out so this is rape right? He wasn't able to give consent. But after waking he is like wtf? and then decides to go along with it because he would have probably fucked the girl if he hadn't passed out anyway. Was this rape? My friend is curious.
