6'1" here with uber long legs and previously poor posture. In terms of working out, ditch the push ups and work only on pull ups. Buy an elastic resistance band and do band pull aparts and face pulls. Stretch your hip flexors, quads, chest and shoulders (google it). Do squats (gloots for the sloots). While walking, don't worry too much about posture apart from keeping your shoulders pulled just a little bit back, and maybe hold your head up very slightly. A little is better than a lot.

It is up to you to decide how much to gain/lose. After deciding your total calories per day, use the numbers below to make a diet plan (or use something like MyFitnessPal to calculate everyday). Remember that 1g protein = 4 calories, 1g carbs = 4 calories and 1g fat = 9 calories. 2g protein per kg bodyweight 1g fat per …

I'm down. Giving up booze, spanking the monkey and sleeping more than 8 hours. Proactive activity is reading 20 pages each night.

To anyone who wants to try this, remember that protein will actually cause an insulin spike just like carbs. I find the Leangains protocol a pretty good way to utilise carb backloading (tl;dr: eat nothing before workout, 10g BCAAs/30g whey just before starting workout, smash shitloads of food post workout)

I'm 21. Positives: Finally internalised what I've spent the last 12 months reading here on TRP. Slept with the same number of girls in the past 6 months as I have in the entire rest of my life. Doubled how much I lift on the big 3 and lost 5kg body fat (now sitting at 12-14%). Finally taking my studies seriously and improving the relevant practical skills. Moved out of home, became financially responsible, started volunteering. Negatives: Having a lot of anger related to TRP principles. Have bec…
