Thank you. I’m finally at a good place in my life now. Single. I’m happy everyday. It’s so refreshing.

I have some experience in this area. My husband of 20+ years decided he was polyam and wanted a divorce after dragging me for 3 years through his transition. We went to many social gatherings. During those events, I questioned folks about their philosophy pertaining to polyam. Many of them said they can’t get their needs met by just one person. My opinion is that these folks are lust junkies. They call it New Relationship Energy. I agree, those feelings are amazing. But I’m not going to keep add…

I wonder if it has anything to do with the men never growing older than 18 in their minds. Could be lack of maturity or just their own internal feeling of age.

My husband was making $15 an hour and court ordered to pay $567 a month for one child.

Polyam folk seem to be addicted to the hormones/feelings at the beginning of a relationship at the detriment of actually digging deep into a relationship. My soon to be ex husband decided to throw away a 20+ year marriage to chase that high. Makes me sad.

Notice she didn’t dispute that she told him to not buy her flowers. This is an example of saying one thing and wanting another. Don’t do that. If you want flowers (or anything else) don’t say you don’t. No one is a mind reader.

I understand what you are saying but I think there is more she could do as well. She brings part of her misery onto herself by being a martyr and not honest. She was doing all of the things that he liked (ball game) and pretending that she liked it. I imagine because she wants him to pony up and do the same for her. He’s being honest and not martyring himself by going to the ballet. They would both be happier finding like minds to do the activities they love (ballet and ball games) and finding a…

My takeaway is that they both have unmet needs and their relationship suffers because they don’t ask for what they need. They assume too much. Plus he’s a 6’6” baby.

He also threatened to commit suicide if she didn’t agree to go out with him. Seems LVM to me.

Mine had the wrong age too. When I made the profile, I put my age as 10 years younger because I thought that being in the 30s group would greet more hits than being in the 40s group. Who knows if it actually did. I don’t do OLD. It’s all hot garbage.

I read the article you posted and don’t see in it where it’s pushing sex work as propaganda. This doctor is saying that she agrees with the movement to decriminalize sex work and offer worker protections. What’s interesting to me is how we both read this article and have vastly different understanding about what it says. I’m not suggesting that you are wrong just that we disagree. I wholeheartedly believe that sex work is violence against women. However, if someone does engage in that activity f…

When I hear, “Sex work is work” I believe them to be saying that the women engaging in this activity for money deserve protections that are given to people who work for a living. I don’t believe that it’s a way to encourage sex work and adding it to job fairs at high schools.

Thank you. I can’t wait until the scientists create awesome sex robots. Then we don’t ever have to have a man again. Haha

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
