That doesn't work. You need to be cautious with your approach. What happens when they don't like what you have to say? Am I even being relevant by talking about anything? Shouldn't I try to find a common ground first? Wouldn't that be stalkerish behavior though, learning about someone without even them knowing. Then there's a stress that you might embarrass yourself.

Just want an advice. How do you talk to new people? And what do you talk about? Not just the opposite sex but your own too. How do people maintain a friend circle without it getting boring? Like what if some people are long time friends but your interests change over the years and now you guys don't have much to talk about?

It's not about me able to handle the rejection. It's about the woman and if she feels safe for a random guy to approach her. That's what I am worried about. I have heard numerous experiences of my colleagues ( Women) who don't feel safe in certain situations. It's scary for them when a stranger approaches and things have gone bad for some. So I know I have to be careful and respect the boundaries of a this woman who's a complete stranger. What worries me is if she's ok with me asking her out. I …

What's the advice for non smokers and non alcoholics? The normal places I go to are restaurants, fast food joints, supermarkets. Also If I don't know the person wouldn't it be awkward to just ask how is it going? Like you can see she's physically fine and a random woman won't tell you her personal problems right away so the answer I would get is just "good" or "ok". I wouldn't blame them if they are thinking " Why does he care?" so is it the best possible way to approach someone?

So for myself I can say when I try to approach my fellow teacher at my school (workplace) I think about if she would be comfortable about me talking to her casually when we are supposed to be professionals and focus mainly on students and their progress. Is my workplace the right place to even talk about personal stuff? How would it impact our image among the students. Am I going to create troubles professionally for my colleague trying to pursue a relationship? Outside of the workplace it's mor…

31 M zero. First I am scared that a girl would find it rude and creepy if I invade her personal space and start a conversation out of nowhere. Is it even ok to approach women? Does she want me to? Then social awkwardness settles in. What do I even talk to this random girl? Do I try to find a common ground? Be honest about my intentions? The whole experience feels scary so I could never try even if I want to.

Just adding to your point. When the unselected men sees a pattern where selected men have bad traits and are still getting multiple opportunities with women, they tend to replicate the bad stuff more. An example would be the hot abusive guy cheats on his partner, the partner is left badly heartbroken, losing her faith in dating while the guy kept taking advantage of his new partner. The friend of this successful guy who counts as 'unselected' tries to take advice on dating and ends up being an o…

Men killing anyone is a freaking crime. What a statement to genralize everything. I think you are forgetting the original point here. There's a specific classification for both sexes and trans people should be fighting to get a separate space in other places. Just don't make it complex for everyone else.

Please go out and live in the real world. There have been several instances of males identifying as women going to women restrooms and filming stuff. If you want an example there was this famous trans content creator who got backlash for filming in women's washroom at Disneyland.

It's just a random comment without stats. I can also say women are at greater risk when a man uses transgender identity to invade women's spaces and privacy.

Do you expect all 8 billion people in this world to be the same? There are all sorts of reactions, beliefs, opinions.

How would you explain detransitioning? Even if it's 1% of the trans population that's destransing then it proves your point wrong that this "gender affirming" care is not entirely safe. There are plenty of experiences who regret going through hormonal changes or genitalia removals.

How is anyone being a dick for saying males should go in the men's washroom and females should go in the women's washroom? Or saying women's sports shouldn't include males?

Yes absolutely. The bigger issue is that people are pushing for these transitions mtf or ftm at such young ages where they don't even fully understand what is happening with their bodies. There's no method where a mental health professional can accurately pinpoint what's going wrong and they are starting to give early diagnosis just to keep extorting their clients and as you said once you are down that route then it's difficult to come back from it. For me I think detransitioners have proved tha…

While porn might be a factor I think that it's more of a trend in these MtF transition scenarios like the rise of influencer culture and social media. While some are facing genuine dysphoria, others are just taking advantages to make more money. What's more troublesome is that the people who are transitioning without dysphoria are hurting all the concerned genders here. They transition into what people perceive a woman is and it creates further issues for them. Is wearing feminne clothing a part…

I am sorry but you are in the wrong here. Women would absolutely tolerate a rude and abusive attractive man over a caring and understanding average man. You can see how many women end up crying about their abusive exes because they never gave a chance to the guy right in front of them. Not saying most the available average guys cannot be toxic but women don't want to give them a chance.

For someone socially awkward I can't even share what I actually feel with my friends since they are all very busy in their own lives. At some point loneliness starts to bother you one way or another and seeing people around you kind of hurts as a man. After a while even spending time on improving yourself with no success doesn't help either.

And when you start getting your standards up high wanting a beautiful self respecting girl they will say that you should look for inner beauty and all that bs. Zero ability to initiate or hold conversation, no self development, thinking of themselves as a prize is all I have seen girls do. Then they want the taller, richer, most handsome man in the world.

I will use my personal example. I have worked hard for the past 5 years on self improvement and can even start conversations with people as opposed to the absolute introvert I was. I was told countless times that it was my ability to not talk much is what's keeping me from a good relationship. Guess what I have a much harder time now finding a decent relationship because women can't seem to initiate or even move forward with the conversation. It just feels like taking those 10 steps forward does…

To add more to this as a man from third world country. 1) Men are supposed to be the backbone of the house and be financially responsible while women can be carefree with how much they can spend. 2) The double standards are so ignored by the society that men can't even take a break from work and if they are unemployed then society will see you as a failed person who's not even fit for marriage. Guess what though, none of that applies to women though I admit with married woman people have differe…

Who comprises of nation eventually. Isn't it all of us? How do you say you are tolerant and act completely intolerant towards the other thing?

Has the lgbt people gone so far that they are now putting gender identity over nation? I saw a comment in one subreddit that was rather concerning.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
