A father's gut wrenching plea after CPS fails his 6 year old son in every imaginable way: "PARENTAL ALIENATION: Mother Loses Custody Then Kills Son and Herself"thanks for sharing and helping to make the injustices public | /r/MensRights | 08/11/17 05:18 PM
Help! My fiancé left with my child and I don't know what to do.sadly common. Get a lawyer and file an ex parte custody order to get you custody from your mentally unstable fiancee. | /r/MensRights | 29/11/15 11:30 AM
Child Support Helpso if there is not a court order why don't you just take your daughter and have her live with you if you can provide a better environment for her? | /r/MensRights | 23/08/15 02:05 PM
Where can I donate that makes a difference?I feel the saddest disparity in the treatment of genders it in family court. Children are often awarded to the mom at the expense of isolating them from the father. The organization I donate to is National Parents Organization to promote equal treatment in family court. | /r/MensRights | 04/08/15 12:26 PM
Question regarding child supportUnfortunately with the lack of judicial accountability and vagueness in the law, what any judge will do is up in the air. I'm a firm believe that if you don't have the money (ie you are going into debt to pay it) you should not pay it. It is not good for you or your children for you to have to dig yourself in a hole, and the support amount legislatively is intended to be based on income, not borrowing power. It is a poor system, I wish you the best and check out some of the parent's and children… | /r/MensRights | 05/04/15 10:56 AM
Child Support StrikeHitting them in the wallet does it. It was a big part of the black civil rights campaign. You would have to big buy-in and commitment from a significant number of fathers in a specific county or state. | /r/MensRights | 08/11/14 11:58 AM
Father wins damages after social worker falsely accused him of abusing daughterIts so crazy that a social worker has the unilateral power to separate thousands of parents and children based on accusation. Not that this doesn't happen in the US also, but what are people in the UK doing about this? | /r/MensRights | 23/04/14 12:47 PM
Open Family Court to the Public? This is really important. As it stands, people have more legal protection from unethical court proceedings when contesting a speeding fine then when at risk of losing access to their child. Please support this. | /r/MensRights | 21/01/14 01:19 PM
I got arrested for domestic violence today. My life is ruinedListen to the people that are advising you to not contact her, not talk to the police and get a lawyer. Don't beat yourself up about it. There is always going to be conflict and it seem like you and her deal with conflict similarly. You did nothing wrong protecting yourself from her violence by using force. But the way things are you are in a horrible legal situation. Fight so your children don't lose their dad. | /r/MensRights | 20/01/14 01:25 PM
I am a proud young father. I have lost my only son, and stand no chance in a court and system that favors mothers. Still, I am going to fight. Any words to help?Know that you are fighting an honourable fight worth fighting regardless of whether you "win". Your son will know that he is loved and wanted by his father and that is invaluable. There are many organizations trying to help people in situations like yours and trying to change the unethical system. Check out our facebook page and the many organizations that we like for an idea. https://www.facebook.com/pages/A-Kids-Right/264012466978880 | /r/MensRights | 12/01/14 12:51 PM
I had my ex-wife arrested for assaulting me. Now charges have been dropped and she is going to try to take MY kids away from me.It is a tough fight but your kids are worth a tough fight. Check out the "like" of this organization for some other organizations that may be able to help. | /r/MensRights | 09/01/14 01:13 PM
What can be done about divorce/child support system? It is irrational and unethical. There are a bunch of organizations fighting for change. National Parents Organization , https://nationalparentsorganization.org/ , and a Kids right , https://www.facebook.com/pages/A-Kids-Right/264012466978880?ref=br_tf , are a few. However often the men who are the victims have been steamrolled and are working poor trying to make enough to stay out of jail, so there is not much money to fight with. | /r/MensRights | 08/01/14 01:56 PM
(NY State) I'm being treated like a deadbeat father by my ex.So sorry man, I know how bad it can be. I write for a couple organizations fighting for child and parents rights, they are both good places for information as are the especially checkout all the pages akidsright likes on Facebook. Its a good information web. Best of luck . The links are : https://www.facebook.com/pages/A-Kids-Right/264012466978880?ref=hl and https://www.facebook.com/nationalparentsorganization?ref=hl | /r/MensRights | 07/01/14 06:30 PM
Houston Dad Facing jail Time For Overpaying Child Support And Over Visiting SonJudges make emotional decisions much of the time. Its not ethical or just, but its usually in your best interest not to piss off a judge. | /r/MensRights | 07/01/14 06:24 PM
New Jersey arrests 869 “deadbeats” for the holidaysMy heart goes out to the at least 869 kids whom suffer a greater emotional toll then the poor parent. | /r/MensRights | 25/12/13 01:27 PM
How I lost My SonYour story is sad for sure, but I'd like to know more about what your lesson from this was, what you learned. It sounds like you acted unselfishly, and under a assumption of ethical and just treatment, didn't fight for your rights to be with your son, and got walked over for it. Is that accurate? What advice do you have for others. There are some organizations that may be able to help. If you let me know where you are I might have a suggestion. | /r/MensRights | 20/11/13 01:21 PM
Defeated. (Child custody, court, etc.)I feel your pain. Focus first on what you can justly do for your son's rights to access you and your rights to access him. There are organizations that may be able to offer you advice or support, and organizations trying to change the system so this doesn't happen to other children and parents. Check out akidsright.org , and national parents organization. They both have facebook pages too that link to similar organizations. Your story is tragic for sure, but it is tragically common and needs to … | /r/MensRights | 20/11/13 01:04 PM
Going into court todayHope things went well. Take video of any ridiculousness and put it on youtube! | /r/MensRights | 24/10/13 02:06 AM
| 2 | John Murtari arrested 48 times protesting for equal child custody. Is this guy a MRM hero or what?John Mutari is getting ready to protest again. His son is grown up now but John is still going to risk prison again for the freedom of parents and children everywhere to access each other. We are looking for more to join us.
