The opposite of "always seeks peace" is not "always seeks war". It just means that maintaining peace isn't the highest priority. Peaceful resolutions are often a good thing, but not when it means compromising yourself and not asserting your needs and value. With respect to Carnegie, it's true that people want to be around people that make them feel good, and who are positive and encouraging. All the better if they know they can also rely on the person to stand up for themselves and possibly othe…

If she's into you it won't matter much what you say. But if you say nothing you'll never find out and she might not even see you. So say hi and don't be weird. Find out her story. Why are you in the same place? Who is she with? Does she have plans after this? Oh no plans? Come sit and chat with me over a coffee then.

I don't get dudes being threatened by a girl offering to pay. I don't mind it in the least and it shows me something positive about her character. Why the hell should that make me feel emasculated? Especially when dating, I'm not her provider. Not yet at least. The reason we're dating is that might be a possibility for her in the future.
/r/RedPillWomen02/06/19 09:56 PM

If a guy doesn't pay for you on the first date you're out? That's fine for you but damn I personally have like zero reason to want to pay for an entire first date. Unless I already know the person well, a first date is largely getting to know the person, the point of which is to de risk future potential investment of time. That goes for both parties so my personal feeling is that the first date or two should be split. I start offering to pay for stuff after the second or third date.

Once I had enough income and enough saved I just started looking at apartments. I made a point to look at as many as I could so I could get a sense of what the best deal is. I looked at about 7 over the course of about a week and a half before I settled on a place. Then I moved and I've been very happy. Once you can afford it, just take the steps and make it happen.

I have had a similar issue with my mom and I have had to have a lot of patience with her to repeatedly explain what I need. Fortunately she wants to respect me and my wishes so she often just isn't aware of what she is doing and what affect that can have on me. She has also not listened enough to know that when I'm hungry I may lose my temper and be much more direct, basically demanding that she leave the kitchen. This upsets her and then I feel like shit. I don't like it when this happens. It s…

I've been doing Latin dance classes for a couple months now and I can highly recommend it on a number of levels: confidence, physical coordination, expanding your network, easy social skills practice. I recommend learning salsa but bachata and kizomba are also great styles to learn and are more intimate and slightly less structured dance styles. I find that at least where I am the women that go to the bachata and kizomba classes are a bit more experienced in dancing and more confident and not we…

You have to DO good for a good while before you FEEL good. Keep taking the right steps to take care of yourself. It will be frustrating. You won't be rewarded when you need it. You will be rewarded when you least expect it after grinding for a long time. No one can say how long something will take. You don't know the length of the road but you do know the way. Stay on the path and you'll get somewhere better sooner than if you deviate.

Your age has little do to with whether it's a good idea or not. Can you afford it? Are you pursuing a career path that is both profitable and realistic based on your personality and desired lifestyle? Are you likely to be able to finish the degree program? Those are more important questions than what age you are when you start or finish.

Neuroticism has a bad rap but I don't think you really want to meet someone who has zero neuroticism. Additionally it's unlikely that someone that high on conscientiousness would also have a zero in neurotisicm. Neuroticism is associated with self reflection and self questioning and that's an important trait for self improvement. Of course too much of that shit is too much and you're self critical and not confident in anything ever.

Statistically your boyfriend or husband or best friend is more likely to kill you than your tinder date. And statistically it's most likely that your tinder date will suck in some way. That's the risk we all run out there!

While I agree with you.. Sort of. I also don't think use of the term is a problem here. I think it's clear enough what OP was asking about. What if she had said, how do I become more feminine? Or how do I foster my femininity? How is that meaningfully any different than using the term feminine energy. You don't have to be a sperg lord all the time. Only when you are doing engineering is that helpful.

If this is a serious concern notify her family or call the police for a wellness check and most importantly CUT ALL TIES. You are not her savior but if you legit think she is about to harm herself you do have an obligation to NOTIFY someone who can take responsibility. I think a lot of your misery is coming from your frame of mind. I am hearing some victim mentality coming through your post here, and that will not help with happiness or success. It's tempting to fall into that especially when you have in fact worked very hard and you haven't seen the results you expected. I went on a tinder date the other day and met my dates roommate after she took me back to her place. I wonder how much time you've actually spent reading the discussions in TRP. Although you can find examples that might demonstrate your perspective of trp I have found that there are a ton of solid emotionally aware and intelligent discussions going on. My favorite conversation technique I use when I don't know what to say is just repeat exactly what someone said back to them as if it's a question. I use the exact same language with a slight upward inflection or I just text it as a question. Sometimes I don't even make it a question. I just literally repeat them. 9 times out of 10 they'll just expand further and say more to me. It's a great way to keep someone talking without much effort and without the risk of lecturing them.

Totally depends. If she wanted the kiss then withholding it could make her wild. Or it could make her think you're too nervous to make the first move. If she's indifferent to it then you aren't really withholding anything that she wants and it will do nothing for you. If she's open to the kiss and wanting it, I'm going to generally take the opportunity.

Agreed. I also have zero social media and for me it's a filter. If that is a deal breaker for a chick then no problem for me because she and I won't get along well anyway. It's a trade off though. I know that Instagram can be used to help your game but damn if the cards aren't stacked against you unless you're really good at crafting a great profile. For me the equation doesnt make sense. I could perfect my profile or I could work on perfecting myself. No brainer right there.

Step one. Ease up on yourself. Self improvement and change is not something you can force. 90% of what we do and think are habits. Habits are incredibly hard to change. Have some patience with yourself because you will fuck up. Step two. Track what you currently do and think and feel. Don't neglect tracking your feels. You cant change if you don't know what you're currently doing. I would argue that you are not fully aware of what you're doing and thinking and feeling all the time. Many times yo…

So I have experienced this problem but not as bad. If you can catch yourself doing it and then just back off the topic and kind of check in with the person you might find that people are pretty tolerant of it. Most people understand what it's like to nerd out on something. So long as you are also expressing interest in them, what they think, and give them room to speak from time to time then it might not be such a huge deal. Changing behavior like this can be hard so have patience with yourself.…

Consistency is more important than any other program or detail. If you are consistent and able to remain consistent you will make progress. I would add to this that totally fleeing from conversations about the relationship is probably not going to serve you in the long run either. Less is more when it comes to those conversations. Just like the "I should"/"I need" statements, it's probably just best to let her finish what she has to say about what she's feeling. You talk about SMV as if it's this fixed objective metric. Its not. Its actually completely relative and subjective. Beauty is still in the eye of the beholder. One man's 9 may be another man's 7. Same thing for women. You don't exactly know how she might rate you, and you probably can't know it and it can change over time anyway. Don't obsess over this. Reframing success and failure from being about closing to being about getting practice and making progress. Like anything else, you have to go through a process of trial and error. The only way to get better at something is to systematically try things that are just beyond your skill level and then analyze what worked and what doesn't. I'm not learning if I'm not getting rejected. I decided I need to expose myself to more opportunities for rejection. The rejection isn't failure. The rejection is…

You are simply disagreeing with the widely accepted terminology and symantics of modern psychology. If you want to use different words to mean the same thing then be my guest, but you'll have issues communicating with other people who subscribe to the modern terminology. Modern psychology begs to differ. Mental illness doesn't mean crazy. You can explain some symptoms of depression by pointing at negative thought patterns. That's definitely an aspect of it and therapy is an important strategy for addressing that. But there is good research supporting the fact that depression is also a chemical imbalance in the brain. It is deeper than just having a bad frame on life. Hormonal imbalances can certainly contribute, but why would that somehow not make it an illness …

I look back at my successes and failures and interpret them as a fundamental part of the process of improvement. Depression is a mental illness and not well understood. It affects wide spread demographics. Depression isn't the same as being sad or upset about your bad circumstances. So people with otherwise objectively good lives can suffer from it.
