If you want the advice of someone who was a staunch atheist and liberal in his 20's... Go to church, find a nice 'conservative' girl who thinks being a mother and housewife is more fulfilling than her career. The gap between an atheist liberal and religious conservative is lesser than the gap between an atheist liberal and a religious (intersectional, feminist, etc) progressive, assuming we are talking classic liberalism here - liberty, free speech, free association, free markets, free thought.

I think that it is complicated and nuanced. I think that women generally are more suited to the role of caretaker within the context of a family, and catering to that ideal is generally beneficial to society at large. Chikfila has a bit of an investment in traditional gender roles. Frankly, I approve. The idea here is one adult + multiple kids can have an easier time of managing those kids, and in the clientele they cultivate, that is usually mom. I also guarantee that if Dad rolls up with kids and asks for the service, they'll do it. 'Mom's' is just the most common descriptor, really not something to get worked up about.

Because gameshows aren't 'games' in the formal sense, and most importantly - they are not iterated. In chess, sports, the business world, etc games are iterated so that a single competitor can gradually hone their skill. Chess is segregated. That said, there are objective ways to measure the strength of a chess player (not just relative to who they play against personally). You have to go pretty far down the list to find a woman. If pro chess wasn't segregated, there wouldn't be female pro chess players, more or less. Just like every other sport. Because it is an idiotic opinion mixed with an absurd non sequitur. Mental labor is still labor, and people who disrespect that are making a mistake. I work as a systems administrator, I'm 'out the door before 6am and never home before 5pm'.
