I'm not sure I believe in too much knowledge. But definitely don't try to be totally alpha. If she's not a virgin she knows what's going on and you trying to put up a front will be obvious. It's just a sign that you aren't willing to admit your flaws/that you need help. Vulnerability is sexy. You admitting that it's scary will help her admit it's scary. I love when a guy asks me if I'm nervous (because I always am) and then pulls a "good, me too". Level playing field.

Have you tried talking to her about this? It sounds like she'd understand since she's clearly insecure as well. The biggest thing you can do to be "good" in bed is have lots of clear, judgement-free communication about what everyone wants and feels. My second tip (which I think you're already on to considering where you are) is to read everything you can on the subject. Study just like you would anything else and your knowledge of the general workings will help your confidence.

I guess most of the time it's when I approach the subject of intentions. I want to know what a guy wants before I sleep with them a second or third time. Usually I'm fine with whatever if we've already been in bed- one night stand, fwb, relationship- and can tell which path it's going down but if we're in the fuzzy area between fwb and a relationship I want to know sooner rather than later if me having feelings for them is going to make it weird so I can take preventative measures. (Idk if that …

I knew you couldn't all be THAT dense! But it's also nice to know that it's not necessarily personal rejection when you are connecting the dots

Thank you! This video was great, for both the people watching aspects and the dating tips. As far as understanding women, I wish I could help more. I think it's always flattering if a guy approaches a woman respectfully, so my biggest advice is don't over think it. If you seem uncomfortable she's going to be uncomfortable.

I was trying to say that I see now my approach was accidentally sexist and outdated. But I have also always been told not to look too eager and that men want to work for a woman's attention...when I have gone against this theory and just acted how I wanted I didn't get anywhere. Is there a balance or are both wrong?

Sorry, totally meant obliviousness above. And I see what you're saying. I would consider myself an extremely direct person and I just realized that the only place I hold back is when I assume that's the guy's job. I've scared off a suitor or two with my straight forward attitude after initially getting together so it made me think letting them 'do their job' would go better I guess.

But as a woman I also don't assume that all men would make a move given the chance, as in guys may just be politely turning me down the same way I would turn down a guy I'm not interested in...so you're saying a guy never following through isn't rejection, it's just obviousness?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
